Also, did you find the yaw damper make a big difference? Some people find the Bonanzas wag too much. Dream plane!

Just got the GFC500 installed. The panel is completely different now too. I really haven’t found this to be the case, but still added a YD to the upgrade.

I’m curious what you used to film this? Some of the best video I’ve seen! 360 camera and then you pick the angles in post?

It was interesting to hear you ask a question about fuel management with tip tanks. I know nothing about it, but it’s one of those things where I’ve wondered why I have them at all? It just seems like it just increases the pilots workload too much to make it worth it to me. Anyway, fly well, brother!

The are a bit more work on the older ones but they definitely extend your range significantly. On my friends G36 they are easier to manage. Once your main tank is burned down, you just simply transfer from the tips to your main. It’s like inflight refueling.

I set my phones alarm for every 30 mins to check fuel. My POH says to only use L tank for take off. I have a J35 and plan 1 hr on L tank, 30 mins on Aux tanks, 1 hr on right tank. I’ll still have 12 to 15 g useable. My butt hurts after 3 hrs so I set up fueling by time.

Hahaha after 3 it definitely feels interesting. I don’t believe the we have that restriction. Maybe has something to do with the fuel pump?

@@AviatorZone I don't think you got the comment; there's no such thing as a 'V36B.' V35B? Sure, but not V36B. Also, is saying "airspeed's alive" to yourself something that is taught in civilian flight training?

Hahah I missed that for sure lol. And yes it’s something that is tough. I’m assuming because the lack of a second airspeed indicator there is no cross check other than that the airspeed is “alive”
