I absolutely applaud the way they are raising there kids. By they time they got there 30s there going to be masters with this and basically all mechanical knowledge. I gotta say, it's great to see Derick on his channel and he has Bentley helping him out in some videos. That's the wholesome family values that kept me watching for years. I'm glad to see the younger generation is going to preserve our old junk. Lol

Derek & Jessica are definitely doing something right as parents. I come from a family of 7 kids that were all close in ages with 5 boys. Getting the boys to "work together" without fighting or otherwise trying to kill each other was nearly impossible for our parents. Seeing these guys working together as a team with no quarrelling or sibling rivalry is giving me hope for this generation of kids. Also, seeing them outside enjoying life and getting their hands dirty is so refreshing. So tired of watching kids today play inside on their cell phones and game consoles. Kudos to Derek & Jessica and loving this new channel for the kids!

I know he gets tips and help from mom and dad behind the scenes on some of these videos but this kid, and his brothers are just doing it right!! Good parents make this possible but it doesnt hurt that these boys are such good kids. That took some serious time, work and dedication from the boys to make that old buggy look this good. Great Job !!! Your Video made me smile and think of the old days when my brothers and I were your age. Our Go-Kart was made out of 2x4's and Big Wheel rear tires on all four corners. We had Feet power and we pushed each other up and down the street. I tribute my career as a mechanic to the early days of wrenching and my love for old cars. Have a Bless day.

Glad you finally got another video out. When your parents are at Sick Week, if the weather is good, layout an oval track or rally cross track on your property, if the weather is bad swap in the motor from the Harley into the go kart. Remember its better to ask forgiveness than permission. Mom maybe mad but Dad would be glad (except when Mom is looking at him).

Great collaboration boys! Reminded me of how my brothers and their friends got started. By the time they were 15, they were pooling their money to buy cars to fix up. By the time they were 16, they each had a good car to drive. One went on to be an automotive engineer with some cool patents, another a helicopter mechanic that travelled all over the place. All of those guys had a lifetime of hobby car fun that made for a lifetime of great friendship.

This video was amazing on so many levels. For one, it was nice to see Bradley for a bit. He doesnt show up much so it was nice to get him involved. The thing that made me chuckle so much was ... you can tell Bentley takes after his dad BUT he's still a kid. Kid is building and painting a go-kart (which is crazy smart and handy) BUT, at the 8 min mark "the steering link thingies." LOL SO fn awesome.

Let them make mistakes! Don't ever be afraid to let kids make mistakes, it helps them teach themselves what not to do! I'm sure someone could have come along and told them to do the pressure washing on concrete and to straighten out the hose before using the pressure washer, but these guys jump in make mistakes and then the most important thing is, they fix it themselves! That is how you make kids self reliant and they grow up to be self reliant adults! Good job boys!
