I'm happy to hear Papa Rug has a hobby on gardening. Since Wal-Mart didn't have any cantaloupe plants available it's a good thing you bought the cantaloupe for him to eat and the best part is he can scoop the seeds out wash them and plant the seeds and grow the cantaloupe. I've done that with the m Melons and with Lemons it was nice and full the vines growing in every direction but slowly started dying since there was no bees to pollinate to the female flower. Just thought I would throw in some info when he wants to plant a fruite ir vegetable but can't fine the plant you know now he can just buy them from the stores eat them but making sure he gets the seeds out first before he eats them.
