Fun fact: The mod around which Compact Claustrophobia is based on - Compact Machines - actually makes a separate dimension where every compact entrance leads to. It’s not true compacting but in reality a portal to another dimension, which has infinite space.
@epicmonke33193 ай бұрын
Yeah, you can escape outside the machines without exiting the dimension by teleporting, you can find your other placed compact machines 1024 blocks away from each other

This simultaneously feels like a good streaming experience and with the early game scavenging a very boring one. You’d have to curve or curb the expected experience at least for the start because they’ll be a lot of potential just sitting there holding a button or something. Definitely doable.Just sit there and chat and whatnot yeah. I dictated everything past the word “simultaneously “.

I remember when I first watched this, I went and played it myself. It was pretty fun until NuclearCraft decided that my fusion reactor should blow up even though it was completely cooled AND not even turned on. Like, I mostly used a really big thermoelectric array for my power. I only built the reactor because I needed the byproducts. Fission reactors were a nice secondary power source, but they required too much upkeep for me. In the end, I just gave myself the items I needed after loading up like 17 backups and following the wiki step by step and it kept blowing up. At the very least, I built a really big unstable fission reactor and just used that to power my Hight Impact Compactor. I just got a big battery array and filled the reactor up with active liquid helium cooling until it was safe to opperate and then pumped it straight into my H.I.C.

I beat this pack a few months ago, I can't believe you did a video on it! By the way, radioactive materials really are hot in real life, that wasn't made up for the modpack. Actual nuclear reactors use uranium's natural heat to boil water which is what actually turns the turbines
@ilove87652 жыл бұрын
oh thanks for the info. I didn't know that uranium also has a turbine process thing to produce electricity. I thought that the radiation from it is directly converted into electricity.

Decided to give this pack a go a few days ago because of this video. Idk how he managed to make it to the reactor in nearly 100 days, I’m at day 100 and only nearly base it to the 9x9 room. Then again, I am focusing on making every resource infinite/farmable to some extent, so maybe that’s where all the time’s been sunk.
