I'm very new to leatherwork myself but I've been told to use oil based dyes and to wipe off the leather with a clean cloth. Then wet the leather (not saturated), allow to dry back to it's original color then dye. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Would be great to see you do more leathercraft. Always fun to watch your videos.
