Asus laptop's heat management is horrible. The fan just turns up for nothing. I have to put in whisper mode all the time. I hope this 2024 version is better.

Temperature is high because of Intel 4 transistor density same as TSMC 4nm. Thatswhy Intel increased maximum tjmax to 110°C like Apple M series.

Is the chassis made up of metal? I recently purchased this model UX3405M, seems like they have reduced the weight of the laptop from the ZenBook 14X, which felt sturdy, now this laptop does not feel of high quality at all may be due to the weight and kinda cheap plastic. Also on my trackpad there are no number buttons which I got on my ZenBook 14x, don't know whether I had received a different model or not. Can yu please help with my doubts?

You probably purchased the wrong model. It has a few models namely different in the model number. I'm considering this laptop as I need a laptop for my work on the go. But not sure if it'll be as good as KZfaqrs are showing.I haven't found any in depth reviews yet. How's the thermal performance on your unit? Is it usable on the lap while laying down?

The core ultra CPU doesn't disappoint they are a step in the right direction for a much more efficient work segment laptop. Although it would be interesting to see how this CPU performs against the M3 family from apple. One more thing the core ultra for the first time ever delivers almost the same performance when plugged in and when not plugged in a windows laptop!

With the Samsaung Galaxy Book Pro, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i and maybe even the LG Gram all costing upwards of 1.2L, this definitely seems like a decent option.

you got to pay for the good stuff. Tbh i would still get an m2max over any of those 185h 4060/70/4080 laptops. Core 9 185h can barely comapre to an m1max thats first gen silicon from 2021. So yeah big L to x86 AGAIN

Hello! I own ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED UX3404VA-M9015W. Aida64 shows a RAM latency of 160 ms, which is inadequately high. I am looking for the same owners to confirm or refute a factory “bug” or defect, although this does not affect the operation of the laptop at all.

i am using asus vivobook 14 oled pros can play heavy games on it with decent fps (tried rdr2 ,god of war, cyberpunk , DBH, gives 50-55fps on 1920x1080p) display is as good as the zenbook version highly portable and lightweight can easily render 4k videos on performance mode in adobe premiere pro (good for coding,editing, and casual gaming) cons sound is loud but not good for bass lovers battery backup is not good. i can run it for 6 hours on low power mode and setting fan speed to lowest because of h series processor cant handle graphics demanding games like alan wake 2 (hardly got 20fps after running in low settings) you can buy this laptop if you want to do coding, good editing, gaming (with decent performance)

Graphic Designing don't even need this powerful laptop any laptop under 50k would be more than enough. Video Editing won't be a problem and neither other Adobe suite. Photoshop may cause a problem if you have tons of layers (above 500-1000 layers and stuff) but that is very highly unlikely. Also don't get it for blender, 3D Designing and rendering is a GPU intensive workload and cannot be handled properly by Laptops without dedicated GPUs. Even MacBooks cannot do it properly even though M Series chips are very powerful CPU, their GPU is very Bad. For 3D work, it is advised to get laptop with Dedicated GPUs.

@@MarcSpctr Thanks for your help! Could you suggest a reliable laptop in budget? My experience with Windows laptops, like my Dell, has been frustrating as they tend to slow down after a year or two. Initially, it ran Adobe software smoothly, but it gradually lagged, affecting even basic tasks like browsing with just a few tabs. Eventually, it became so sluggish that I couldn't even open the file manager and then it used to just stuck on the homescreen.

Go with MacBook Air M2, it is always better and even better if you already have any other Apple devices. You get good life. I have 2017 MacBook Air and it still works like a charm.

MB air is overhyped by KZfaqrs. If you don't do video editing, then it's useless. I returned mine after 1 month of horrible experience. On the other hand, this one is much better for students and office work. And the Oled screen and 14-inch screen size is to die for.

This Intel Core ULTRA series 1 and it has the almost MacBook level of BATTERY LIFE and still great performance. Way better battery life than AMD Phoenix

Incomplete review lack of research clearely seen, It is not 14th gen or rebranding . Intel has launched new chipsets for more power efficiency alongside intel has 14 gen regular core i 7 and i9 chips. Harmon speakers are worst in asus zenbook instead asus g16 has best speakers almost equal to mac speakers. Battery is still not up to the par compared with macbook series
