I’m a oily skin person , and you have literally saved me from spending money on foundations more than once. Before you - I didn’t know what to do with my oily skin, when it came to foundation. They were all cakey and separated on my skin. But thanks to you and your advise, I have perfect skin every day. My latest purchase- after a few years with Estée Lauder - is Diors face and body. I know when you do a foundation review, you are going to put it to the test. I'm SO glad you made this video, because with mature skin.... I usually like the same foundations as you do. I don't like super dewy products that need to be powdered because that will look cakey on my skin at 59!!❤️❤️ And at this price, it should be perfect!

I’m a combo to oily and tried this foundation, exactly the same experience as you. Way too glows after 3-4 hrs and it didn’t last, even after setting it well. So glad I’m seeing others have this experience as I thought it was just me. Tried the Lisa Eldridge after watching your review last week, omg blown away - it’s such a beautiful foundation. I also get married in a couple of months and thinking it’ll be my wedding foundation for sure. Beautiful finish and long lasting. So thanks for that review too!

I had the same experience with this foundation- same skin type! I didn’t get on that well with Lisa Eldridge found it too drying! I’d love you to review Chanel ultra le teint- it’s my wedding foundation for sure! 🥰 love your videos xx

.. I have been using this foundation since it hit our Aussie shelves. I have normal to dry skin & I’m in my mid 50’s. It is the best colour match I have ever had but other than that my findings are the same as yours Nikkia. Not long wearing at all. It breaks up but stays sitting in my pores making them look like little brown pools. It also gathers in my lines and at the same time is non existent in large patches, especially on my nose. I have tried a couple of different primers but still get same result after a few hours. I will finish the tube but will only wear it for short outings. Definitely will not repurchase .. nice to see a honest review, thankyou 😁👍🏻 ..

Girl, that foundation looks beautiful on your skin, but I'm guessing it's not best for oily skin types, which is a shame, but I'm a combo.. more dry skin type, so I'm excited to try it out 😁 I agree the Lisa Eldridge foundation looks flawless on you and I would love to try it out as I love her products, but I can't stomach spending that price for foundation.

I absolutely adore this foundation. I just posted today a battle between the CT & the Chanel No.1 GORGEOUS! I am 54 with normal skin so dry patches here & there. I will say I think this foundation is probably best on normal/dry skin. I’ve seen a lot of videos saying it’s too glowy for oilier skin. Thanks so much for the video. I have your same skin type (and shade!) but yes agree . Happy point is 6-8hours. I did have the wow factor as not many hydrating ones give me that on application! I like how it works with powder and contour cheek products

Completely agree with your review Nikkia. I too have oily skin and as the hours passed I could feel it slipping of my face. After powdering every couple of hours it just started breaking up everywhere and looked horrendous on me. I loved the previous airbrush flawless foundation, shame as I had really high hopes. But let's be honest had this foundation been lunched under other lower priced foundations I honestly don't think we'd be hearing as much about it. And a brand name alone cannot carry this foundation as somethinggreat for all people. . Happy for those who love it and really wish I had too.. ☹😖❤❤

I just tried the CT beautiful skin foundation for a week now and I also tried the NARS light reflecting foundation and I by far prefer CT beautiful skin. I got 4n and it is going to be my tan summer shade so I got 2n now so i can stop mixing in white foundation mixer. I really enjoy the gel texture and the light to medium coverage. I powder it down so i don't look so glowy. I like how it's weightless and doesn't look like makeup on the skin at all on me. NARS looks dry and textured on me for clinging to dry patches. I have combo skin with flakes on cheeks sometimes. Also my favorite foundation is also EL double wear light but now I have to use regular double wear as light is discontinued. I love the CT for a very natural skin look and fast application. I use fingers for spread it out and blend in with sponge. I do bolt during the day but the foundation doesn't break apart.

Hi Nikkia, I was almost going to comment on you not liking it before your review on this foundation, I just watched Angie from Hot and Flashy and she’s a more mature beauty and it did the same thing on her skin so it was interesting to see you both do a review from a different age perspective, I’ve decided it’s a pass for me, even though we’re at way different age groups with me being @60++ our foundation shades are mostly the same and I’ve been curious for you to do a review of this foundation and which shade you chose, I’d like to see you review the new NARS foundation if possible, that’s one that’s on my radar to purchase for my mature skin and will be in Mecca stores I think around the 22nd of this month but if your a level 3 you can get early access to it, I’m thinking of waiting to go in store to purchase so I can get a good colour match, I’m in the process of de cluttering all my foundations and only keeping the ones I actually wear on a regular basis, I’ve got so many just sitting in my makeup cupboard taking up space, time to get rid of them. I’m not surprised that you got this result. This foundation isn’t meant for oily skin types. I have normal skin and it works beautifully for me. I just powder my tzone and I’m good to go. I get a little shiny but it just looks radiant, not oily and I can get 16 hours out of it. That’s working a long nursing shift too. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you because for me it’s a gorgeous foundation.

As an oily skin type and watching probably 10 reviews on this since it came out, I’ve decided there is no way I will like this. Maybe if I only wore it for a couple hours at a time, but I work 10 hours a day and don’t go out otherwise. 😂

I’m still on hunt for foundation. I loved the Dior backstage face and body but it makes my face Itchy! And it makes my skin look more red as it seems to trigger my eczema. I Hate the perfume they put in there. Soooo much fragrance it’s like applying Dior perfume and makes my skin itch which never happens to me with any other foundation even ones that do list fragrance but the Dior is way too fragranced so it’s a huge bummer for me. My next tries are HD skin by MUFE drops soon And if that one I don’t fall in love with (which I love the Ultra HD ) I will try the NARS light reflecting even tho NARS has never worked for me in any of their other foundation formulas. And it’s expensive, those few dollars makes a difference for me but I guess all the skin care if it’s truly so Great and long lasting like so far people rave I’d buy it if it truly 100% was perfect. But I can’t wait for HD skin I’m buying that right when it drops.

Me and my sister hated this foundation it looked cakey and textured and like it sat on top of the skin. It looked dry and gritty up close but from a distance it looked super oily and shiny

I’m combo/oily. I bought this one and I’m going to return it. 😭 $44 US Dollars is a lot for a foundation that doesn’t work. I’ve tried every kind of primer and no primer. I’ve applied it with a sponge, brush, and my hands and it still looks bad. I wanted to like it so badly but it just looks awful on me. I had the same results you did with the patchy and the product caking on my forehead and chin. I need to buy the Lisa Eldridge one instead.

Did nothing for my 59 year old skin! Got better results from the Loreal Serum foundation which lasts all day on my skin and i've nearly used the bottle up for the first time ever in wearing foundation, which this didn't and the price difference is enormous.

This foundation does say that is for normal skin it does not say or mentions oily skin at all it is catered for those with normal to dry skin, just looking at the ingredients and the claims it tells you what skin is for.

The Lisa Eldridge foundation suited you better but I understand you have oily skin and you didn’t like the look of Charlotte tilbury one. You have such perfect looking skin! 💗💕

What a shame! I was considering buying this one but as someone with oily skin also I think I might give it a miss. I found Charlotte's airbrush foundation didn't work for me either. I'll have to stick to double wear for now 🤦‍♀️

I've seen mixed results with this foundation's latest reviews on You Tube, Nikkia. I would say it is a light medium coverage, and initially, it looked okay, but certainly not amazing! At six hours already, you were looking a bit greasy, and I didn't think it still looked fantastic on you. As a result of all the reviews I've seen, I'm not even interested to try it, although I have normal sixty year old skin! I have much more affordable foundations that give me better, and prettier coverage with a much longer wear time, so this foundation doesn't have anything special to offer me! 6:25 Oxidation was unimpressive. It started out a little bit too orange on you and quickly devolved; looked like literal 🍊 before you returned with makeup finished. Clearly it was correctable, but I don't want to work that hard to make it right.

OK I’m gonna say something and I truly hope it is not insulting because it’s not intended to be…. I would really appreciate it if KZfaq influencers who to these reviews would show us the unfiltered results😬. I understand why some may not want to go natural….I get it.. However for a true review we need to see the pores and the lines accurately to understand whether the product would be good for our skin.. Even just turn off the filter for 15 seconds just so we could really understand how the product performs…. I know this is uncomfortable to talk about. And it’s just a suggestion…
