He thought it is intuitively evident or self evident in its performance.

I always go to you for the contemporary texts, now you’ve gone classical it’s great don’t get me wrong. I love Descartes constructive skepticism, despite the conclusion he reaches which is dubious. Using his process to analyze our own intuits, beliefs, assumptions, bias, neuroses, you get my point. Is objectivity possible? That in itself is a silly proposition, thanks for ringing this bell. I’m just wondering is this a brief detour into a few classical thinkers or if we’re working backwards to the pre-socratics. Someone said all philosophy is just commentary on Plato, I would amend that to say Plato and Aristotle but hey that’s just me.
