This more than anything annoys me. People still treat manchester united as though we are still in the 90 or early 2000's. Let's get this straight I'm a liverpool fan and I am enjoying your Manchester United banter era like none other and long may it continue but it annoy me than people keep wasting time talking about Manchester United and such when there's other things going on in the football world. Talk about Aston Villa or the relegation fight or Leverkusen or whatever but let's stop giving a a club that being average for years now any expectations and air time

@@2723cadd Finished 3rd last season, above Liverpool, with a domestic cup (same as Liverpool this season). He's not a bad manager, no one was calling for him to be sacked at the start of the season. Just like Rangnick, who's now doing well with the Austrian national side, isn't a bad manager. These players just have a way of making any manager look bad. The club needs a DoF more than another manager.

Man United is absolutely without doubt still one of the biggest football institutions in the footballing world. But to suggest it’s remotely close to being one of the best “teams” in world is baffling. Top 20-30 team in the world at best at this stage, palace, a bottom half of the table side just took them to the cleaners and it’s not close to the first time that happened

The title alone was a joke. Why would he ruin his legacy there? Make sure the back room staff is working in the same direction and is making the right decisions in terms of recruitments first so you can attract a coach of that caliber. United keeps thinking they’ll attract anyone because of the name but that’s where the problem starts.

Would they be saying this when Ancelotti was at Everton? Sure one of the greatest ever & he'd do a great job I'm sure with an improved structure at the club. So many pundits though see a manager doing well & start saying he's the guy to fix Man Utd. I bet they were all over Ten Hag to with the same hype before he got the job. Just stick with Ten Hag see how things look with another summer window, under the new setup. Because running through managers is what's caused the problems at Man Utd, players having to learn different methods every few years.
