Second episode of Baba is You! We're just soaring through the first lake world, even the challenge levels. I'm sure the later ones will be much more difficult.

I have the game and i love it a lot. Do you have any tips for when i cant find any answers? Sometimes its just too hard, but i dont wanna get a walkthrough.

@@dralethedragon2521 Don't assume anything about the mechanics. If you have a hypothesis, test it and apply what you learn. Once you've learned enough, just eliminate the possibilities until only the solution is left. I also find it easier to solve backwards, starting with the goal. That's pretty much my method. You just need some abstract thinking and determination. Wish you the best!

Happy to see that despite his initial hesitations Tyler will end up running with this game. Just starting the series in Dec 2021 after hearing Tyler speak about Baba dozens of times in literally all his other playthroughs :)

I'm enjoying this, you seem very competent with the mechanics considering you've not played it much. I also like how the idea of opening a wall with a star seemed perfectly natural even though there was a key and door there, that sort of abstract thinking and not making assumptions should serve you well. Hope you carry this on!

What’s so funny is you really have to train yourself to stop associating related items with one another. You have the ability to redefine reality in this game, and it can be tricky thinking that way. 😂

The level title for level 10 is a hint that you're "supposed" to use "Door is you" and "Keke is Door" so you have two doors, then you walk into the key with one door, "opening" it, and then finish the level as a door

heyo. Its states: FLAG IS FLAG, which means flag cannot become any other item, like a jelly. So even if he tried that, it wouldn't work. The text would become -FLAG IS JELLY- , which means it contradicts a rule (like FLAG IS FLAG)

Nothing happens, since you can't give an attribute to another attribute. But if "flag is win and defeat" and you walk on the flag, you get defeated.

Challenge levels are not supposed to be challenging, they are supposed to be another way you can look at a puzzle, like the challenge level in this video, you had to push baba or the rock past the defeat objects, but the way you do it was different for both levels

You can't access "rock" without writing "flag is win", and you need to write "rock is you" to get the rock to the left side of the screen.

Puzzle speedruns are still enjoyable. Its crazy seeing the amount of optimization and the fast and accurate movements. Its like a puzzle turned into an action game

@@aa01blue38 I mean, why not both? That sounds like a pretty cool category. Optimizing games on various parameters is always very interesting to me. It could be nice if you unlocked an optional move counter in the game, if you wanted to get into that.
