I took Bama Beach Bum way into the marsh for CRAZY action!

To his many viewers, Matthew Isbell is known as ‪@BamaBeachBum‬ because he specializes in fishing telephone-pole-length surf rods with his toes in the sand along the Alabama coast. But even though he's less than a three-hour drive from the Bayou State, Isbell had never fished the marshes of South Louisiana -- until last week.
I had the pleasure of hosting him for two days of fishing, and well, you know: The autumn in Louisiana is hard to beat. We caught fish almost nonstop for two days.

Fall pattern has finally come to Texas' middle coast. Nobody fished the birds for more than a few minutes, Tuesday, catching undersize trout and gaftop. i peddled out and cast a Spook Jr and caught 20 keeper trout in an hour and a half. They were literally fighting over the bait under a bright, sunny sky. Gotta love the fall.

Wow - a surprise two-fer second day and some more fantastic action. It looked like perfect weather and waiting for the tide to fall sure paid off. If y'all were keeping fish I would have really enjoyed seeing that box at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing and will we possibly see some reciprocity from BBB to MMM? A home and home series?

I definitely plan on getting over there to let him teach me the surf-fishing game at some point, hopefully when the pompano are in
