I got my first gen 2 today I have 2 digimon digivice x’s on the way in the mail and yeah. I loved them when I was younger and I’m so happy I got back into them I want to get them all ❤

The main reason your original Tamagotchi kept dying was because it would get sick off the snacks. Snacks are considered very bad on the original Tamas, and a healthy weight for an adult is around 30 lb. Feeding it a snack causes it to gain 2 lbs, and playing the game makes it lose 1 lb. So basically if you feed it normal food for hunger and play the game to fill the happy, your Tama will live much longer! Great video though! It's always fun to watch people discover and enjoy Tamagotchis again! :D

In a Tamagotchi, the egg just before death is a "you did it!" A happy ending. Because no Tamagotchi last forever.

modern devices don't die of old age! You'd be able to keep your character on your uni forever if you wanted.

If the Tamagotchi reaches old age in modern releases, They will depart instead of dying.

@@Top_Hatty They only depart in the pix. All other modern devices you can keep them forever. (ON, P's, iDL, Uni, Smart, iD, Mix, +C, 4U)

Snacks makes your Tamagotchi sick, Play number game with your Tamagotchi instead. Also reading the manual or watching the guide online helps. BTW, the average lifespan of the P1/P2 is 12 days. 7 days short & 25 days long. Sorry for bad english.

One thing I recently learned about the connections is they have even and odd eggs and each one has a different character set so you don’t get the same Tama twice in a row. I found my old V2 and I love the game play on it for a black and white Tama. I rediscovered tamas randomly during Covid and picked up a Wondergarden on clearance. I’ve been obsessed ever since. 🙈

Same with me too! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Got a gen 1 for nostalgia, then got the newest, ( Which at the time was the pix) then got a jurassic park nano, which I STILL LOVE! Then I searched and got myself the Tamagotchi On. Which is still my favorite, due to how much you can do and explore. I now have the Uni, which I love!! But there isn't genetics and family play like there is in the On. In my opinion, with the newest Tamagotchi, they came close to making the best Tamagotchi ever. But I have to say the Tamagotchi On is superior. Wish (and I guess they still can update) that they would bring back some of the Tamagotchi On play. Thanks for the video! You now have a new sub! ♡

I had the v3 and newer versions, which can be paused super easy just by pushing the first two buttons at the same time. Had a total of 5 tamagotchi for YEARS I might still have one in a box somewhere.

@@emmalutionIRL after watching your video I hopped into eBay to see about getting an old v3 connection. A used one averaged about $120 USD, if I wanted a new unopened one from 2004 I would've had to pay $500 😶

I had 2, lost one but didn’t care much because that wasn’t expensive and it wasn’t a Bandai tamagotchi. I got my new tamagotchi pix and im currently on generation 2 at teenager stage. He’s sleeping rn :)

Bought myself an original gen 1 (didn’t know about the gen 1 vs gen 2 difference at the time but I tend to mostly spam the A button and it seems to work most of the time) but it led me down a rabbit hole and now I’m debating buying a uni… good to see im not alone lol

I got myself one a few months ago after wanting one since I was 8. I can now say that I will never get another one 😂 it died (lived it’s whole lifespan apparently) and I will NOT be hatching a new one. Mine was pretty well behaved but sooooo needy

this is so funny. i watched some tamagotchi rabbit hole video a few weeks ago, then i decided to get a uni just for fun. i got a mimichi then a neliatchi, who i kept around for a few days. currently on my first boy. a few days ago the pix party’s price went down a bit so i ended up with one of those as well. tbh im already having a ton of fun with it even tho it came in today- it feels like a completely different game in a good way. there are SO many features. i also always end up enjoying the minigames a lot so pix def wins in that category. i think the next one for me would be a meets (prob sweets lol) over the smart, but i love that there are so many shared experiences out there. like when i was little i had the connection v3 i think and i could never keep that alive for more than a day! same with the giant tamatown one from like 2010 and some weird tiny one from like 6 years ago? but yea i just resonated with this video sm LOL

Heck, I started reigniting my nostalgia with the classic rerelease and I only bought one while struggling to hold myself back in purchasing a different shell design. Though I did went ham with the Digimon rerelease because they have tons of replay value but I never thought of trying out the colored vpets due to pricing and the features I don't really see myself enjoying. THEN the Uni was announced... despite much internal debate, I decided to finally buy one.

Bandai really needs to bring back the Tamagotchi V2 and V3 versions because I had the time of my life playing with my friends and connecting our gotchis and and let them have children. Best thing ever 😊 let's write a letter to Bandai that they bring these versions back 👍🏻

the reason why it said “leaving” or sumthin like that it’s because ur tama uni wants to move out it will continuously ask until you let him/her move out and if u dont let it when ur ready u can marry it off or wait until it dies.

This is so weird. I actually just got one in the hopes it could maybe help fix my sleep pattern. I know that sounds stupid. I have cats but they are used to my sleep being all over the place and don't wake me up for food. I thought because the beeping from a tamagotchi really grates on me it could help in some way. I thought as well that with the beeps it could stop me from napping too. It has been helping a bit, I never got it with the intention of trying to raise it hardcore, it's more a tool to help me!

highly recommend giving it a go! not tried them yet but if you're a busier person the nano models are the least needy and have licensed characters!

It says this videos a month ago from me now i awnser what you asked 12 alright for new players but ive got gotten 25 before on my gen1 tammagotchi you have a gen2 i love tamagotchis alot its 2023 😁 11:37 i got mine from my birthday 🎂 🎉 its a gen 1 i love it it has diffrent forms then yours a diffrent game and my death sign shows a angel 😇
