Relaxed and calm. Have not seen many passengers the relaxed around here. Grandma has 10000000% trust in you so she can enjoy the ride, and what a ride it would be. I can almost guarantee that it was an important thing to do with you as she seems to be very close to you. Legend, coolest Grandma, well done. A dream of mine is to lap Nürburgring before I go.

My uncle is an ex pro rally driver, drives to the ring every week. First time he took me as a passenger I also felt total trust, not a bit of fear. Maybe a bit when overtaking on corners, but I’m still surprised at how calm and controlled it felt. What I’m trying to say is, I think it just is like this when you know you’ve got a good driver.

This video was not because of the reaction wonderful, it’s because it was a moment you’ll never forget with your grandma! Please appreciate every second with her like she does with you! You could tell she didn’t give a f about what you did or how you drove, she just enjoyed the time as ‘a racecar drivers grandma’ and a ‘very cool grandma’ (indeed). She’s very proud of you!

@@leeeeI he was decent in Renault and Lotus car which was smaller than 2019 Williams so his arm should be much bigger problem, also Russel had very good times in Mercedes car. Don't put Williams faults on their drivers.

@@GinsengStrip-wt8bl Yes of course, but this was before his big rally accident. Compare Russel with Kubica, Russel was always 1-3 seconds faster per lap, every race. It seems for me that it's a problem with Kubica.

Hahaha my dad taught me how to drive 200+. We don’t learn that in the Netherlands so he had to😜. I’m also always happy he did since there actually are some important things that you have to pay more attention to when you are driving that fast.

So true. I unfortunately have a grandma who explicitly has told me she doesn't like me or the rest of my family. It's like she wants to be disconnected from my part of the family to give us regrets for the rest of our lives the day she passes away. It makes me really sad as I know how blessed I am to still have her, but not actually being able to use that precious time with her. :(

And your parents... My mom is 75, not sure how that hapenned... Somehow I'm 49.... the list of things I can do with my mom is getting shorter. We spent a lot of years not very close so I feel like there were a lot of lost opportunities. Now it's almost too late as she doesn't have the strength or energy she used to have, and has to have oxygen. Not sure they will allow oxygen bottles in the car at my local race track... they don't even allow floor mats!

Oh man. Diese wundervolle Oma erinnert mich an meine Oma. Sie hätte diese Fahrt ebenfalls mit gemacht. Sie starb 2010 mit 85 Jahren und es macht mich sehr sehr glücklich zu sehen, wie diese Oma die Fahrt genieẞt. Danke für dieses Video.

"Are you ready" " Yes" Puts the foot down and you can instantly see she wasn't ready at all, but how could you be ready, she took it quite well considering at her age not everyone goes around the nurburgring in an R8 going 300.

I watched the whole lap with smile on my face. I’m so happy that you were able to do this Misha. I could tell in the intro how much you cared and how much you love this woman. I don’t know your story but if I had to guess based on the look in your eyes and how gentle you were during this lap it wasn’t all roses growing up. Most people never experience including their family into something they love to do. Cheers.

ahah i love how chill she is, you can see the fear in her eyes quickly followed by remembering how much she trusts you. i have the same with my mum, take her in all my vehicles at least once, been cornering, drifting... she reacts much the same

Grandma is terrific, such a beautiful soul. She says it's like a fairytale. Once upon a time, there was an Audi R8 on the 'Ring... I love how grandma said she's never been over 60 (kmph?) but she sits there like it's business as usual when the R8 takes off like a stone from a slingshot.
