Although this cube is technically legal in the WCA, the guidelines section states "3a+) CLARIFICATION Competitors may use puzzles of any reasonable size, at the discretion of the WCA Delegate." You would only be able to use this cube if the delegate at a competition was feeling gracious.

After cubing for a little over 2 months and struggling to learn CFOP, I finally got a sub 1 minute. 55 seconds is my new PB, and I expect to keep improving in the future

@@ugie8890 ok I got back into cubing 2 1/2 months ago after a 13 month break and I’ve improved my pb from 9.68 to 8.66 seconds, and gotten my average from 15.5 down to 13 seconds. It’s been a really fun time coming back to cubing but if you don’t wanna cube anymore then that’s fine. As long as you’re happy then ur good ig

I struggle with tps during my cross. I average 4 seconds for the cross but has a sub 8 move solution. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Great videos as always, J perm!

so if you can solve cross in under 4 seconds and have sub 8 move solution then you will want to pick a less complicated solution eg one that turns only R, F, and D layers. then u will have a better time fingertricking and thus faster cross I don't know tho this is just a guess

To make it even BETTER, you can magnetize it! Actually it probably would make it too heavy and hard to turn, but it would be kinda funny seeing the tiny magnets on the BIG cube.

Hey can I ask for some advice on how I could improve my TPS? I average around 11.5-12.5 seconds and I whenever I try to turn fast I just fumble and struggle to maintain grip wayyyy too much (I barely ever try to hit maximum speed cuz then its gets quite hard to look ahead. I genuinely average faster when I'm turning slower than when I'm turning faster (if not the same) because I just struggle and fumble the cube so much. I tried practicing a bunch of fast solves for a while hoping it'd just go away on its own eventually but that doesn't seem to be the case. Do you have any advice for this? I know this is super specific and lengthy so Thanks a lot to, well anyone who decides to read through this entire thing lol.

One of my students gave me one of these. I solve corners first, then use commutators to solve edges. Slice moves are not too bad on this cube. This suggests Roux might be a better method for this cube. The lower turn count wins when finger tricks are not available.
