In this video Chloe Jade Travels to Afghanistan under the t4liban rule
This video was recorded over 2 and a half weeks in November 2022
This is the REALITY of an AMERICAN WOMAN traveling to AFGHANISTAN under T4LIBAN RULE
Afghanistan is incredibly overlooked when it comes to the beauty of the country, only though of for what it is portrayed in the media and in movies.
Similar to what I have spoken about with Syria, people have dehumanized refugees when they have no idea how much these Afghan refugees have given up
I hope to share the realities of my trip, so you can understand how incredible this country is, and why Afghans would never CHOOSE to leave their country, and why many feel they've been forced to, in order to give their families a fair chance.
The main video is 48 minutes long, with a 30 minute Q&A at the end.
Please let me know any additional questions in the comments and I will do my best to answer.
Thank you for all your support 💜

Hi Chloe, I am an afghan and love watching all vlogs about Afghanistan. However your Vlog was exceptionally the best one for many reasons. First of all It made me very emotional that If I go there as a woman currently, I can’t experience half of what you showed us so it felt empowering still to see you fulfill my dream. You did an excellent job by showing many different clips with the most relevant information about each place and Event that took place. And I watched the whole video which i am usually incredibly impatient for. Thank you so much for showing us all this❤

It is sad. There were many Afghan women who studied in colleges here in North India who left when the COVID-19 pandemic started here in India and were never able to return.

Thank you for showing how beautiful Afghanistan is and the people living there. I felt like I wanted was to touch the buildings that are hundreds of years old. It’s so sad to see how the historical places were destroyed. I never knew there were Buddhist statues there. It must have been amazing when it existed before it was destroyed. I highly enjoyed this video❤

Wow! You just became my new favorite travel KZfaqr! Your bravery for doing that which I, as an American woman myself, thought was impossible, by travelling as a woman to Afghanistan under Taliban rule so that you could open your mind and your clearly compassionate, beautifully loving heart to the Afghan people is truly commendable! Thank you, so much, for sharing your journey with us, and in so doing sharing the voices, spirits, and culture of a people whose voices and spirits, both, it seems, have been so sadly quieted by the Taliban's rise to power! You really helped me open my own eyes, heart, and mind to this incredible country, and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me do so! 💖

As a woman born in New York City I feel like one of the luckiest women in the world. Lately I haven’t been feeling great about the city but watching this gave me more appreciation for being a native here and free to do as I please in many ways with many resources. I give thanks to my ancestors and the entire universe for placing me right here right now safe sound and free. There is so much beauty there in Afghanistan and so much rich cultural history even if much of it has been suppressed. Thank you for sharing your journey with us 💚💚💗💗

Hi Chloe, if you wear hijab in any more of your travels, you might have an easier time keeping the hijab in place with hijab magnets and, if you wear an undercap, you can attach the hijab to the undercap with wardrobe tape. These tools should make it easier to wear hijab if there's wind or if you're moving a lot.

Very interesting footage and as always, I love getting insights into the real live Afghanistan day to day. Question: do you have roots in this part of the world?

Recently came across your channel and I love your content 😊 I really appreciate how genuine and respectful you are towards the culture of the lands you visit. I don’t sense any arrogance or judgement in you, based on all the things you say. Your respect for their customs and beliefs regardless of how different they might be than yours, is so refreshing to see ❤️ looking forward to more content 😊 I’m curious if you’re willing to share, what’s your ethnic background? You identified yourself as a woman of color in another short, so it made me wonder.

I'm so happy you did this video. I have seen other women on KZfaq with a lot of privilege painting afghanistan a certain way, ignoring the plight of actual afghany women.

This is very interesting but also super emotionally exhausting, especially hearing about that girl in the displaced persons camp. I hope she's ok.

I have read many books regarding Afghanistan. I’m so happy you went! My dream is to mountain bike there and be the first female mountain biker on many of those mountains and passes. Maybe one day. I love my afghan friends and we are always thinking about you ❤

It’s very common in the market places for shopkeepers to rinse their glass of water or tea with water and throw it outside their shops, which in many cases land on someone walking outside. It has happened to me and I have see it happen to others. I don’t think it was because you were not covering your face.

My guide told me that was the reason so that’s why I said it. I had my face covered there earlier in the day and had switched my scarf so wasn’t covering face anymore and just forgot and he didn’t want to force me and didn’t realize I just forgot. Anyway. I hope that’s it. But there was snickering afterwards so that why we suspected it. Kandahar was different from the rest of what I experienced unfortunately.

yes, some parts are alot more strict and Kandahar is one of those places. But disrespecting a women in a verbal or physical way (in this case throwing water) would be considered a big crime. No one would even dare to do something like that deliberately of the fear of being harmed by the family of the women. A women is an honour in Afghanistan. I'm not saying that it didn't, maybe it did happen in your case. but I just wanted to point out that, it would be very unusual and risky for someone to do that to a random woman@@Chloejadetravels
