I stayed overnight at Ueno Station Hostel Oriental, which is located in Ueno, Tokyo, Japan. From Ueno Station, it takes 6 minutes on foot. It's easily accessible, affordable yet offers great services. The price range is from 2,300 to 2,700 JPY (20.3 -20.7 USD).

I really appreciate how you shoot your videos in showing your surroundings. It’s much better than having the camera pointed at your face while loudly describing the area (like most of the other KZfaqr’s tend to do) Thank you!

Exactly. I don't mind it when people show their faces occasionally, but all the time seems really narcissistic. Like, I want to see the place, not the person.

Just came across your account. I'm sure I'll be watching all your videos from the beginning. They're so interesting! I'm absolutely in awe that no one steals your things & that no one stole your shoes! Everything is so clean & it was so quiet in the rooms, all of them, even the TV room. I'm gobsmacked. 😲 Thank you for showing us all the little details of Japan, I can't wait to watch more! ❤️ Just subscribed.

japan is quite safe when it comes to travel. Many years ago, my cousin had left her phone accidentally in the disney sea restaurant (crowded). And realised after half an hour. We went back and still get back the phone, it was kept by the staff safely.😌 that changed my entire impression towards japan.

Hi from New York. Thank you for a realistic look at a capsule hotel in a busy part of Tokyo. It looked very spacious, though it's too bad that they didn't provide you slippers. Maybe bring your own next time. At least you had lots of good food choices nearby. I just subscribed to your channel.

Hi, thanks for visiting my chaneel from a haystack! I'm trying to share every bit of my travel experiences and I'm glad that you pointed it out! Capsule hotels are not that comfortable like ordinary hotels, but super cheap and quite easy to use! I hope you will have a chance of staying at one hehe😏

I'm the opposite. I think I would love the beds themselves, as I feel far more secure being "enclosed" while I sleep. I always have to have one side of my bed against the wall to feel more secure. I have always wanted a canopy bed with curtains I can close so I can close off the outside world in a way. The only thing I wouldn't like is having a curtain as opposed to a door and knowing there's complete strangers just outside that curtain. 😂 I could never fall asleep around people I don't know, no matter how tired I am.

I can’t wait to travel to Tokyo solo as a “gaijin” in December, nowadays I go to sleep late because i binge watch your videos 😂 Btw, your blood pressure is fine. That's it. I want a Japanese 7-11 here (I'm in Canada by the way). And I don't mean I want it in my country, or my province. No. No, I want a Japanese 7-11 in my tiny town of 7,300 people. Because the Japanese 7-11 have the best looking snacks. The snacks in our country's 7/11 kind of suck. They're boring. Japanese 7/11's are the way to go.
