EU4 Nevers is one of those nations that you really don't think about - a vassal of EU4 Burgundy that usually gets swallowed by EU4 France, most do not give it a second thought. But there is an achievement associated with it - EU4 Nevers Say Nevers. Most need an EU4 Guide for this behemoth of an achievement - but today we struggle in one of the hardest starts in EU4.

This achievement became so much easier after they fixed the AI meaning that those supporting your independence, e.g. England or Denmark, actually land their troops.

If they are the "strongest ally" there's nothing in the code stopping Nevers from being selected in the event. But obviously getting relations high enough to marry them in time could be difficult after conquering their lands in the Independence War
