In this video, I tried getting into Copy Trading as a total beginner in that field and completing a copytrading challenge for 7 days. To do so I analyzed different traders who offer copy trading and deposited $10k on BingX exchange to start my copy-trading. After following a trader I chose for 7 days I was very impressed with the results (way better than my expectations!). I liked copy trading just because of how easy it was to set up everything and get started, as well as the fact that I did not need to trade myself, every trade was executed by the trader I chose. After completing the challenge I realized that copy trading could be a great passive form of income but you should be very careful what trader you follow and never invest more than you can lose. thanks, new subscriber here! yes, please do the challenge for 30 days and more than that!! because even 30 days can sometimes show a wrong picture. I have checked out some traders on copy trading exchanges where they are doing great for 60 days and more, but then suddenly they begin to lose trades one after another and end up in very small profit or loss in a long run..

Hey there, I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

Your problem could be that your stop loss is way too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.

Don't let them discourage you, don't give up. Trading takes years to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them, moving stops to BE may help. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators or rsi into your strategy to make your entries better and prevent overtrading. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later .

You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much, does any come to mind?

I think the most important thing you should know is staying away from the lower TF. Also, it's important to keep an eye on the environment too, ie DXY if it isn't doing too well or is a bit choppy, chances are dollar denominated pairs are in for a ride too. In this case, it's probably better to get in and out of your positions quicker

It's pretty simple: you chose trader to follow, his traders are automatically copied on your account, when trader closes trade your trade is getting closed at the same time. if it made profit then % of the profit is dedicated to trader (usually up to 10%) while the remaining profit is deposited back in your total balance on BingX.

profit is added to trading balance, so if you want to take out profit then just transfer funds from copy trading balance to your spot

Dumb question i am new to copy tranding. For example if i invest 150 dollars and the trader close the trade and makes like 70 dollars do i make the 70 dollars too or less?

That's actually a good question, it depends on the traders trading capital. You can see that in traders dashboard, if trader has 150$ as capital then you would make same amount but if he has $1500 then your profit would be $7 on that trade. Does that make sense?

Because if you are not copying in proportion to the trader (relative to your account size) then how can you expect your results to be similar to the trader you are copying? For instance if the majority of their wins came from larger positions but your position is fixed then you are going to have drastically different results I would think. Anyhow I am new to copy trading and trying to understand different strategies. Any input on this would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance!

Determine your risk tolerance first and foremost. Be aware that it costs money every time you buy and sell a stock. A lot of people think they can make a nice profit by buying a stock when it dips down a little and then dumping it when it recovers but they fail to factor in the considerable fees the brokers charge you to place your orders Also be aware that it's basically gambling, it shouldn't be done with money you're going to need in the future, consider whatever you invest already lost

I cant say for sure but I believe so or maybe BingX doesn't have a license in US yet. For US citizens everything is harder that involves crypto. Many people use VPNs for that.

I agree, i was very surprised with results. I mean it went at normal pace for 6 days and only last day profit almost doubled lol. To answer your question, yes. you can follow with less than traders' capital.

yea, def learn more about it. I've been trading myself for more than a year so I know what to look for in a trader :) Also, I will create a video "tutorial for copytrading" so I could discuss what criteria I use to pick a trader. As for a month, yea thats a good idea but for long term holding I'd use different approach - like copying several traders and distributing my capital (just to be safer).

So if you are going to pretend that this is recorded over 7 days you gonna need to do more than just changing the hoodie. Your monitor is showing the same stuff all 7 days, whatever stock/crypto you are tracking hasnt moved at all in 7 days. Your laptop moves a little bit within the first "days" otherwise its also stationary. This is a red flag.

You know why in this bussines you need ID check? Because of money laudering and who knows what other frauds you can do. So when a broker doenst ask you for ID check its a big big big red flag. You promote different things on YT which seems you have no ideea about. lol

@@TheOlimpian666 literally all exchanges started with NO KYC needed, only after growing bigger they started requiring KYC. I think same will be with BingX
