You are bringing joy to your coworkers! Lolita fashion is so pretty. I wore a few coords to skate and the regulars keep asking me when I'll wear one of them again, but tbh it's harder to skate with a petticoat and too sweaty 😓

To be more casual and daily, I found that not wearing a petticoat really make a coord less "out there". But I'm also wearing very classic pieces without print so... maybe it's just me 😂 I enjoyed seeing you working in an apron. I want to sew one for myself now 🥰 love your videos! I am and lifestyle . I don't wear tulle petties at all. They itch. I wear cotton petties in summer with a hoop skirt underneath it. A hoop skirt will keep you cool. It lets air circulate around your legs, you're cooler then in jeans! I do not wear a corset! Only blouse, jsk, pettie. In winter I wear a fleece pettiecoat underneath a hoop skirt. If I am doing labor, I do not wear jewelry or fancy dresses. Simple is key. When hiking I wear the cheapest dresses. Never wear your expensive clothes to work. I work with kids and they get messy!!

Your coordinates are lovely! I love the way you match colors together. Day 3 was my favorite, those shades of pink and green are so beautiful together. I also love the frilly apron you wear at work, it's adorable! I wear lolita fashion daily and absolutely agree that you should adapt the fashion to your needs and comfort, and not the other way around. People tend to think that wearing lolita daily just isn't possible, and of course it depends on one's lifestyle and career, but generally speaking, the fashion comes in many forms (not just OTT) and I find that it can be toned down to suit most situations. I hope you continue having fun wearing the fashion more often, even if you don't do so every single day 💕

This is such a great video - love this experiment! I'll have to try it myself someday, now that I have a wardrobe big enough. It's funny - I'll get all worried about people reacting badly when I get dressed up in lolita to just go out and do normal things, but once I'm out and about, it's fine and I get nothing but positive compliments. Go figure!

So cute! I love your style, I have a hard time with classic since the pieces are so small. I’d suggest a thick apron in an offwhite to wear at work, polyester would be easier to wash and not worry about it wearing down too fast. I wear aprons with cute big pockets.

Stupidly also managed to pick out the hottest week of that summer if I remember right, though as that was also still in the middle of fully working from home, it was a lot easier. I do agree that it is the documenting that's way more tiring than the actual wearing. What I've learnt, over the years of gradually wearing lolita more often is basically what you've said: the trick is to focus on wearing clothes first and on the lolita aspect of it second. If in the process the outfit stops being lolita, but you still like it and it serves its purpose, then that's more important. It certainly helps to have a bigger collection of things like OPs, blouses, and legwear, so that you limit how much actual conscious planning needs to go into it. Ultimately though, in my opinion, it depends the most on one's lifestyle and what that allows.

first of all, I love your carpet. it's so pretty. and your cat. and your decor! I really enjoyed watching this video and... I agree with your conclusion. In my case, I spend most of the day sitting in from of my pc, but I walk around quite a bit around the factory and I don't think it would be safe or that comfortable to wear lolita everyday. Also, everyone is very closed minded where I work at and something out of the norm is already a huge deal. If I did wear it, I would probably use smaller petticoats or just not wear one. But during the weekend I only want to stay in my pjs as well... 😥 maybe I'm hopeless

Nice video!🙂 I wear lolita to work pretty often and I've done a challenge like this before. I'm a seamstress but I sew tents and I've found I absolutely cannot wear anything with long dangling sleeves. Also I don't always wear a petticoat either because I'm sitting all day and it constantly gets messed up and uncomfortable. I also need to be a bit careful about shoes because some I found, slip on the petal, but I can just take them off if it's too much trouble. 😅

These coords are everything omg!! 😍 I prefer country lolita over the sweet kind, but that’s just personal preference. If I were a lolita this is probably the style I would go for. Also green is totally your color.
