As someone who's kept rats and mice for most of my life my main problem with the rodents in the sims is that, well, they don't have enough space. Furthermore, you can't keep rats in a solid walled enclosure like that, and you can't just keep one rat, they're social and need a partner or ideally a whole group of friends! That being said, the in game rodents are incredibly cute. I just think the Sims team could be doing more research to promote more proper husbandry, you know? Rodents are one of the most unintentionally abused/neglected species of pet, second I think only to fish, and so anybody going out of their way to promote actual good rodent husbandry would be my hero!

Maybe Stanley should try to get rich from fixing broken appliances? When you fix them, you get those upgrade parts that u can sell. You could set up Stanley with a fridge (just an example) and then let it rain so it will be broken. He may die but I think it’s worth trying!

I love the rodents. My supersim has a voidcritter named The General and I love him. I do wish the enclosures would've been made different. The ones that are in game aren't good for any of these creatures (asides from the voidcritter maybe since that's not a real animal). Especially rats shouldn't be kept in this kind of enclosure nor should they be kept alone. They need lots of space to run and climb and they need friends or they'll suffer. I never expected them to be completely accurate to how you would keep real life rodents, but this does perpetuate bad ways of keeping rodents which in turn makes the poor creatures suffer. Please do your research before getting any kind of pet so you can ensure you take good care of them

i wish the sims team had made like, appropriate setups that suit each rodent because the ones they have are ....... not adequate, fx. rats should always be cohabitated, hamsters need a thick layer of substrate to burrow, etc. when i use these in game, i only keep the platypus-looking thing cos even having a virtual rat in an unsuitable enclosure makes me feel bad :(

Okay, hear me out: Can you get rich from bringing the lightning? Since sometimes lightning gives you elements, crystals, and metals, it makes sense you could get a bunch. The catch, Stanley would probably die alot before you get hypercharged again.

Another Get Rich scheme: Use the Weather Machine from seasons and make it strike lightning on your lot and sell the collectibles

My vampire sim has been making money by making plasma packs. You can make them from frogs and fish, the only problem with this is that you have to have a high enough Vampire Lore skill to be able to make them. Could be a fun challenge for Stanley

Want expecting this but I ran straight here within seconds of finding it. I got a cowplant from one of my sims being a gardener and planted it. I decided to give it a name as I hope i could keep it around for as long as possible. I went into the “name” option and the first randomly generated name to come up for this plant was “Little Simzee” witch I believe was a reference to your channel 😂

Not sure if you've tried this already, but maybe try and get rich using the present piles? You often get cheap little things, but sometimes you get expensive things like the more expensive TVs. You can do it twice every time the moodlet disappears (open present, then sneak present from pile, but only if your Sim doesn't have the "Good" trait, because then they're above sneaking presents). And once they inevitably get low, you can fill them back up again for free, so you'll never run out

Has there been a "getting money only from bees"? As in not the honey money, because yeah, that for sure is good. I mean money only from sending bees out to get things.

I have a hedgehog called thimble in my sims game, he is WAY more successful in business, travel, and fame than my sims. He has grown 8 ears on his back, blown up his cage 12 times, gone on 8 vacations and bitten my sim once

I’ve had the same bug. I eventually put my bubalus or whatever it was called in storage. It wasn’t a rat so definitely a problem across the board. And I had even fed it the treat so it could never die. I thought it’d be fun to have a continuous pet in a legacy family for all generations.

The lightening superpowers are my second favorite part of seasons - I killed so many clones trying to give my wanna be superhero sim lightening powers. My favorite part is my sim autonomously showering in the rain. Just in their birthday suit on the front lawn, ignoring the neighbors walking by and showering because their kids are hogging the bathroom.

I would love to see a part 2 of the Get Rich with Dust challenge to see if it's still as OP as it was when it first came out. 😂

I have read something about the lightening: When your sim is struck twice within a small space of time, they either become supercharged like Stanley did or they die like the kid in the 100 baby streams did. So Stanley was lucky he got the supercharged outcome!

We can't change the past but what the sims should have done is my first pets as rodents, fish, maybe even rabbits things not included in Pets and their typical decor additions. But anything related to the pets expansion should have come in a pets update so that way my first pet would still work without Pets

I think this is a cool pack, but they clearly didn’t do their research on these animals lol. 1. Hedgehogs (or void creatures?) aren’t rodents 2. You can only have rats in wire cages because they produce too much ammonia, and it’s not a good idea for hedgehog either 3. Hedgehogs can’t climb up or in tubes, at least very well 4. These literally don’t look like any animal cage I’ve ever seen lmao

The glitch where the small pet dies can be solved by looking at their food bar. If it disappears feed them a treat until it reappears, at least that worked for me.

I think the one didn't need food for so long because Vlad was feeding it when you weren't looking.
