There was this very popular cabaret-like show broadcasting in Italy in the late 90s on every Sunday, where at some point a guy used to "sew" dresses with uncommon/unusual stuff (most of the time out of cutlery, plastic dishes and bottles, etc) and one time he made a couple of evening dresses out of batches of pasta. I was just a kid at the time but I can still remember vividly after all these years how incredible the outcome was.

I REALLY appreciate the fact that the food didn't go to waste. So many other content creators are so wasteful. They'll spends thousands of dollars on disposable items that they destroy for views. What you did really makes a difference, and it does matter. Thank you!

I have to be honest: I was not very fond of this particular project. But it was interesting nonetheless that it somewhat worked out in the end. I love how you handled the whole thing, so much patience. The woven noodles somewhat looked nice in that woven fashion. I wonder though whether using egg white as a glue would have helped securing the loose ends even more.

I enjoy my pasta dishes but never crossed my mind to use it as clothing material. This may sound a bit strange but if you want to continue with the food theme for an adhesive, possibly some sort of thick cheese could have worked. I would wonder if something like lasagna would have the strength but maybe not the most flexible or easy to handle. The width of it would probably also serve better for shorts instead of a top.

interesting i would have done dried hollow pasta and sewn them up like rigatoni i think that would be more doable and you could then even paint them but then again that i believe has been done as art piece so nice to see different style done

I feel like “framing” it with some yarn may have made this work though and it’s so close to functioning!! Like taking a super thick, dull needle & weaving a bit of yarn through all the edges, a couple across the center, & then braiding the pasta over the yarn threads which then tie in the back could save the day lol. But I get it if the main point was trying to exclusively use pasta noodles.

I think it's so funny that you're weaving something today! 😂 As it reminds me of the dream I had this morning! I was weaving an 1800 butt bustle using what appeared to be old woven basket material the (flat straw type) and then I was attaching to that a tule skirt, in the dream I'm running artificial flowers through the holes of the tule to create a long train of flowers, it looked like a basket of flowers spilling out behind me! And it was simply lovely! my dream was so kind as to give me a drone shot of what it looked like from above while running through a grassy meadow if I had resources and time I would make that dream into a KZfaq video like this! 😂
