In today's video, we are attempting homemade brown sugar boba ice cream bars! These boba ice cream bars have been all the hype, and I've tried many different brands including Xiao Mei, I-Mei, and Tiger Sugar. Each box can be marked up A LOT, so I decided to try to make them at home for a fraction of the cost! And, I'm only using 5 INGREDIENTS! Hope you enjoy the video :)

so for the popsicle molds where they’re like a sandwich, they’re usually for like juice popsicles and you put the molds together with the stick and then pour the juice in through the holes

Hey meimei and mama meimei! So great to see you try making these Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream bars. We have never tried them before, but next time we go to the Ranch 99 we will have to pick up a box and see what they're all about. We have seen a few other KZfaqrs eating them, and they love the store bought ones. Cool that you were able to make them. Your mom is getting spoiled with all this homemade food LOL!!

OMG.. that little bear mold was too adorable! It was great to see the step by step process on how you made these popsicles. It definitely looks like a workout on your arms. Who needs the gym, when you got the kitchen! LOL. That tiny funnel was too cute, and too useless LOLOL!! We can't imagine where you found such a tiny funnel, unless your mom had one laying around the house because she works at a lab or something??? Maybe she's a famous chemist!! LOL :D

Popsicle formulas are more watery and not airy like some ice cream. You could mix a bit of milk with the ice cream base so it freezes as more icy and will hold its shape better.

Next time definitely think you should mix the ice cream and brown sugar boba together so it’ll get a more even flavor

Heyy u should try getting some of the boba roller things it’s really helpful for creating a lot of boba quick and easy and all the same size. However it isss a bit on the pricey side but it makes life easier 😅

I feel like if you found like brown sugar ice cream that wasn't too light you could use that as the "brown sugar syrup" when melted then layered it with the boba and vanilla ice cream. That way it may not be as icy

I think if you blended the ice cream with some milk and used that instead, it would have been better. Because those ice cream popsicles aren't the same type of ice cream you get in a tub, I think the milk would have helped it to freeze more solid. And if you had steamed the mochi boba things instead of boiling, treating them more like mochi, then maybe they would have held their shape a little better. But still looks deliciousss

Haha all the boba are stuck on the other side of the ice cream 😅 Maybe you could give it a stir before closing up the other side of the ice cream mould next time 😄 The final result looks not too bad! the holes are there because normally your use juice or something to make popsicles you could have microwaved some ice cream to fill it up

LOL what a tiny funnel! I think you can actually let the ice cream totally melted, and use a piping bag to insert the ice cream from the small hole of the ice cream mould.
