I think it's the way he presents it that makes the difference. I follow many other KZfaqrs where I admittedly turn off the video the instant it's cleared that they're featuring sponsored content. Not because I don't want them to get paid, but because it literally feels like sitting through a 30-minute commercial. John could probably run his own infomercial channel and I'd happily watch it for hours on end because he's so comfortable to listen to, and he actually presents the product in a relatable and real way. It's like listening to a friend, not an ad. Hell, I'm not even that interested in makeup and yet here I am.

This is so real. I’m male and HATE my facial hair. It irks me to even let it go a day without shaving but my skin is so sensitive that it straight up hurts it I’m not using a brand new blade every time, no matter what I do. I have one of these and I love it. I started seeing results within the first couple of weeks (treating every other day) and now 6 weeks in, I no longer have underarm hair, and barely anything over the rest of my body. This seems to be the validation I needed... I got the Ulike air about 1.5 months ago and I've seen some pretty impressive results on myself. Even still I was doubting the efficacy or if I was maybe not remembering my hair used to look like. I bought it after Cassandra Bankson's review and was skeptical but I think Ulike has a pretty decent return policy if it didn't work out. I'm pleased with my results so far, and its validating to see John do a review.

Excellent tutorial, for the record (and for those who do not have darker body hair), I removed all my blonde/white body and facial hair using Hironic Ultra-sound Laser. Ultrasound laser is incredibly effective with all skin and all hair colors. Light/heat laser treatments cannot remove light/white/grey hairs, it's only ever been possible using electrolysis which is painful, expensive and in some cases leave you with a chicken-skin like appearance.

I’ve used home IPL and laser hair removal performed by clinicians. I’ve started with Laser hair removal which was terrifically effective overall. I use the home handheld IPL machine for touch-ups. Thank you for a great explanation and the advice!

Ordered before even finishing the video! I got an IPL device a few years ago and I've significantly reduced the hair growth on my legs with it which is awesome, however I really struggled with using it in the underarm and bikini area due to it being fairly painful - the few times I tried I was sitting with an ice pack before and after each flash to help. The cooling effect really sold me on this device for that reason, I can finally work on the hair in those areas too!
