"There's nothing to do" while having a inactive colonist for a decade and being only a few provinces away from the entirety of Central America. Why not form the Aztecs and figure out if your mission tree breaks, like you mentioned?
@DylanSargesson2 ай бұрын
Or even just use the colonist to get to the Atlantic Coast to be closer to where the Europeans will land
@MrThisissparta9992 ай бұрын
Why dont you just take admin focus and take exploration with native penalties? You can colonize and reform with the incas by 1480 if you colonize a province in Brazil. If you need colonial range you can core a province from the northern natives in Colombia at the coast. This has been the meta strategy imo since El dorado DLC

@MrThisissparta9992 ай бұрын
@@SmashingCapital You want to get tech 5 s fast as possible, even if you pay more admin for admin tech becauese you lack feuidalism. The reason you do this is that with exploration ideas you can colonize next to brazil, thus avoid having to wait for the ueropans to colonize next to you
@JirenThegreylienАй бұрын
I formed inca without any ideas needed. Before the 1480’s for the bonus
@DylanSargesson2 ай бұрын
The Migratory tribes have knowledge of all of South America, so if you ally/vassal them you can do Request to Share Maps with them to see when/where the Europeans land. You can then send your colonist adjacent to be able to reform sooner than them making it to you.

Pretty clear that playmaker doesnt ever play colonial (i don't blame him its usually boring af), hence why he completely forgot about the colonist and that he could have maybe gotten to central America
@IndependentObserver2 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, Cuzco is the preferred one- they got an amazing starting ruler that's not too old, and you get to keep the one level of Machu Picchu. Also you get to throw people out the ear-window, if they ever throw off your groove.
@IndependentObserver2 ай бұрын
Huh, I just seen the ruler- they nerfed him. He used to be like 5/6/4 or smth like that
@HarlequinHonor2 ай бұрын
@@IndependentObserver The ruler you start with as Cuzco gets bonuses to his stats from completing missions that make him into a 6/6/6 ruler. They can be done within 10 years or so if you know what you're doing.

I normally tech up to get exploration and expansion to get the maximum colonists. I was able to get to brazil and reform completely in a much shorter time than you did in the video.

i mean most of his editing is just cut out parts that are boring without any effects so it's not that hard. For thumbnails just slap text on the screenshot and it's good to go.

Easy nation, you don't max, no use colonist, ignore the mission tree, but 4 power without problem. Play Florence with innovation ideas and plutocratic, get sortition reform, for geronto government 6/6/6 leaders with 69 years old for infinite mana points and dev hell, get 30 dev in all Italy complete the mission "make haste slowly" change to monarchy change religion to ibadi or some stupid Muslim variation, enact IQTA government, conquer Mamluks, complete mission tree, get Arabia before tech 20, unlock achievement "prince of Egypt".
@Theplaymaker572 ай бұрын
Sounds interesting
@smeglan952 ай бұрын
@@Theplaymaker57 The only requirement to convert a nation into Mamluks is own egypt, Mamluks doesn't exist and have Iqta government. You can get Ibadi(+10% Goods produced modifier) from Mzab, is stupidly weak and surrounded by Sunni bitches, but you'd have to be quick if you don't want the poop version of Islam. Remember you can choose a main and a secondary school, my favorites are -10% dev cost for more dev hell, 10% AE reduction and 10% shock damage. Use this information wisely, in multiplayer it can be a bit of trolling.

They are too powerful" (early 1500s, quits by 1550s) Then the nations of Europe all come at you at once in the 1600s... Spoken like a person whom plays the game almost exclusively in Europe and Asia... Didn't even know that the well known country of Mapuche was down there and an opn... Booo go back to Europe! 😆😆😆 Totally messing with you. Not everyone finds the Americas as fun to play in as I do. I've played nearly every nation in the Americas into the 1600s or more. I LOVE the new mechanics for the majors. Things seem easy in the 1500s, but its the 1600s where like 6 or more MAJOR nations all are hostile and desire all of your lands. Things change quickly from easy to HOLY SHIT! Anyways, Thanks for the vid!

Honestly, it feels like the Inca are not even worth playing, compared to the Aztecs. Mesoamerica is a blood fueled thunderdome, with constant action, and by the time you're done (depends on your ability as a player) the Europeans are starting to arrive to colonize and you can keep a bit of momentum, whereas playing around the Andes is much tamer and also quicker to clean up. Not to mention Aztecs have much better national ideas compared to Inca. I feel like the Inca still need a touch up. The only time I can imagine someone would consider picking Inca over the Aztecs is if they're interested in them from a historical standpoint.
