Fun fact: once you reach tighnari friendship level 4, there's a thing about karkata that says the matra allowed tighnari to keep the crab as a research assistant

Tighnari knows how to feel like he's better than everyone

Just like how all of the other Story Quests make subtle changes to the world after you finish them, if you come to Pardis after sundown, you can see Karkata hanging out outside of the greenhouse on the right side of the pathway, and then at dawn you can go inside the greenhouse and see it folded up like a little cube (to 'sleep', i'm guessing, lol.) Tighnari must do most of his research in the dead of night, then.

Everyone else gets obliterated by the Aranara quest line But this one? This is the one that made me bawl like a two year old

Some scenes and cutscenes which touched deeply to heart: Teppei's death Aranara song Dunyazard's try to make Kusanali's birthday successful Ruu's quest Pervases cutscene Shenhe's quest But Kartaka's cutscene touches differently. Seeing a machine desperately trying to bring its owner back to life.....what can I say!!hits deep.

I like the sassiness and Jei's reaction. Also fun tip, you can still see Karkata as much as you want after this quest. Also really nice to see Jei doing the Dendro Reactions.

Everything that I have learned from Genshin is that fox people are always sassy, this is the exact reason I pulled for tighnari and his bow

This quest made me a proud Tighnari main. The writing is so good!

I was hoping that we'd get to keep karkata in our teapot. But I'll take this ending too.

When I played this quest I really enjoyed it, but I had look up most of the big words Tighnari said more then I like to admit

Jei! Did you see the photographs nearby? If you click them or ask Tighnari about them, he again describes how everyone always wanted to take photos with him. And he says how he gave his photo with Abattouey to Karkata. If you go near Karkata, you’ll see the photo of Tighnari with his straight face standing next to Abattouey smiling so happily 😭😭

It's interesting to me how the more characters we see from the Akademiya, the more we see that it's just run by a bunch of close-minded fossils with more pigheaded pomp than actual academic nuance. It's no wonder Lisa, Tighnari, the Doctor, or some of the other exceptional talents the Akademiya fostered tend to leave it when they've learned all they felt they needed to.

This made me cry even more..Sumeru can make a grown up man cry..

Fun fact, if you return to the final zone, Karakata is there, somewhere, either sleeping as a cube or watching plants
