Venti doesn’t dump anything on us. He was trying to solve the problem before we showed up. And he believes in the Idea pf true “freedom”. And Freedom includes letting those who are truly free solve their own problems by themselves. Just like the lore of Mondstadt he made the people choose to be free from their oppression. As for Zhongli he put all the ordeals in place to quite literally test his people and make sure they could take care of themselves without him watching over them so that when he gave up his Gnosis he knew they would be fine without his power. Raiden is the only Archon that is genuinely unlikable.

Yeah because despite being long, the dialogue doesn't feel like filler unlike some character story quests.

It was so much fun to do even tho it took me like a week, but whenever I do the arc’s I always focus on every single detail- Atleast I’m happy to know that there’s ppl like me who turn into detective whenever they do arc’s💀💀

Things like Collei's past, the withering, the 3 gods of sumeru, akademiya. They're all very easy to digest because of how well theyre paced in the story. Unlike Inazuma where they just lore dump it at the end of the quest. This is imo the best archon quest so far and its not even done yet.

And then there’s the Aranyaka Quest …

People need to understand that as much as genshin is a waifu game, it's a lore game first. The devs are actually taking their time to write the story. If people don't like it then they should play another game.

Still not that great of a connection. Sure we travel with dunyarzad but what the writers did was make us feel bad for her, she didn't do anything that impactful to make her death sadder. Don't get me wrong, i was very moved by her "death" it's just that, if she would've died she'd be forgotten very fast just like teppei.

Inazuma had him trying to compete with us, non-mortal(in-game) while trying to relate Teppei to us as audience. Dunyarzad didnt try to do that and instead focus only on her own mortality story.

Same, I haven’t actually reached Sumeru in the story, but Teppei was not a character I felt connected to, we barely spent any time with him. Same with Kokomi & Gorou. That and a lot of later half Inazuma characters never appear in the main story. Itto, Kuki, Heizou…It’s so strange.

@@komasdfg fair, it's very true that dunyarzad was a good character compared to teppei, but.. idk her existence seems a bit shallow. What I mean is, from the beggining I knew she was gonna "die" because she's so "in-your-face" when talking about how she REALLY wants to see nilou's dance and that she might not make it. And what's really sad is that i don't think she's gonna have further development and become a relevant character because her role is already filled and her dream is already fulfilled. That's why her character (at least to me) feels very empty. Hopefully she or her family will be relevant in future archon quests tho.

@@riotkitty kuki, itto and heizo have no real relevance and role in the Inazuma archon quests because the main entities are the resistance and the shogunate, the tri-commisions being side entities and the guys from ritou (i forgot the name of the group) were completely forgotten. Inazuma should've hade more archon quests to fully develop the resistance and to make the shogun's loss less shallow (and actually make yae Miko a REAL character and not a plot device to push the plot). Like shogun was my favorite archon until 2.1, she was cold, heartless and very selfish but after the 3rd act she became soft, waifu and more selfish, her development was WACK

Dunyarzard also legit feels more tragic given the crap she's dealing with is entirely beyond her control and ultimately all she wanted was to see somebody dance because it was something she herself would never be able to do thanks to her sickness - plus it dovetails with the archon's own presence in the story which showcases her own struggles and worries about being so weak and inferior to her predacessor that she can't even save the life of her most devoted follower without the help of the 500 year old extraterrestrial who just happened to be around and stuck in the loop. Teppei's entire story was him basically being overeager to prove himself, making a deal with the devil more or less given what the Delusion does, and then he kinda just drops dead with simply wanting to see us in matching uniforms - you could legit remove him from the story entirely and nothing changes.

people have long been giving evidence of katherine being a type of robot. the first hint was her idle voice lines "error" "rebooting" next was the fact that there is katheryne in each nation all existing at the same time. normally this could be passed off as a generic character model however the traveler themselves draws attention to this in liyue and inuzuma. then there is the keyhole on the back of her neck. this all points to katheryne not being human. people were very convinced that katheryne was some sort of android robot. it just had never been outright confirmed until now.

pallad is a peon compared to the hate boner i have for this guy. i don't want this guy dead. no death is a release not a punishment. i want him to SUFFER i want him to suffer. i want all the academia wannabe "intellects" and "Sages" to attend a little lesson on Mental Torment. and the attendees are the guinea pigs. i want them to know how it feels to be a helpless little lab rat. powerless to do anything against the torment that assaults them. i want them to understand how it feels to have your life toyed with without regard. to be viewed as nothing but a statistic for progress.
