Late March I had sold off all my EOS R stuff. I had a bit of spare cash around and I was looking to buy a more modern medium format digital back.
This is the saga of trying to buy a Camera at MPB.
In short I bought a "Like new" Leaf Credo 40 Medium format digital back, it arrived with a heavy yellow screen tint that was on just the left side, and the live view function straight up didn't work. Of course I sent it back, the agent said they should be able to fix it.
MPB basically held the camera for 3 weeks and when all was said and done they just said "can't fix it, refund" and didn't explain what they found. They're doggedly flowing their terms of service to the point where even items that would be considered misrepresented in an ad don't get return shipping covered or shipping refunded (If you ordered a hammer online and received a box of kitty litter, who should pick up the return tab?).
Anyways in short, if you have to deal with MPB USA I would strongly suggest a double take and consider if the savings is worth it.
