On the broken objects thing, it's likely I do have a bug here lol. Also, it's possible to upgrade things to unbreakable and avoid them breaking in the first place. So 5-star lots with everything unbreakable will mostly leave you alone. Also the mod now has options that will let you collect rent daily if you like, which DOES scale so it's not exactly a cheat. It will just be giving you 1/7th of the rent if you chose 1 day per rent cycle.

I’m not sure if it’s possible or would make things too easy, but I think it would be cool to have Property Management that you could hire to fix the broken items and then they take like a 3% cut or something every time you get paid.

Yes, in the real world, not so much in the Sims. I think this mod is so smart because it is fairly easy to make a lot of money in the Sims, particularly if you're farming dragonfruit or get into the money tree world. I like the idea of actually having something to do with all that money.

Sims rack up so much money and so quickly and its truly the best way to spend it. It makes a legacy feel more like a legacy too cause you're inheriting so much more and you can have that family that doesn't need to work or whatever. I mean, the Landgraabs are rich but they still have to work to maintain it so like... they're not rich enough to be enviable really lmao

I am hopeful EA is making a list for Sims 5 as to what we miss about old games to bring it back.

Its a shame as there is the mechanics for a game pack based on what this mod shows us here you could buy cheap property and using dream house decorator flip the properties for profit by holding auctions or open houses and trying the "sell" on potential buyers? but it wont happen EA just want to set up the old sim shop and milk money from us for useless things in kits. Most of the scenarios are lame too quite shallow and dont really offer anything new in game play sadly.

The hotels wouldnt work cuz so many of the packs are spread out. For ex restaurants, laundry and other stuff arent available

Same here. If it had been a short thing it wouldn't have been as funny, but that was the longest I have ever seen a Sim pee before, especially while standing.

I actually don't miss that at all. I hated the burglars, and I get way to attached to the sims don't like when they die. I guess I play the game way differently from most simmers.

I'd like sims to be able to rent houses as well as apartments. Omg and what if Carl adds a slumlord aspiration where the goal is to make the most money with the least amount of upgrades/lowest environment scores 😂 (Irl I think landlords should be banned from owning single family houses lol)

@@narbiesims2997 I don’t mind when a landlord owns 3-4 properties in a college town or something and does the maintenance and gives a crap… it’s a valid career option. My problem is when investment firms buy up ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOODS and they aren’t even investment firms from that country. If the US doesn’t do something soon to cap foreign investment in real estate, we’ll end up like Aus and Can with even worse housing prices.

You could technically do that. Buy a plot of land, set it to be a generic community type while you build it and then sell it so you can turn it in to a residential lot and put kid sims in with a caretaker adult sim. Thats one of the ways I'm gonna use this, have a philanthropic type sim build things the town needs. I was gonna renovate the EA worlds anyway but this gives me a good way to do it with a story. Instead of pulling money out of thin air in manage worlds mode I'll just have a sim use their money. You could technically do this with the retail system we already have now that my gears are actually turning lol Buy a lot as a retail community lot, build it up to be an orphanage or whatever you want and get rid of it. What we need now is a way to own vacation homes or additional residential lots because then you could continue owning and funding the orphanage when people live in it lol Then I could have my Yogi run a orphanage and an old folks home from the "donations" he makes leading yoga and meditation

become a philanthropist and donate it 🤣 or do what real rich people do become famous or you could have a main career such as acting or business and investing is what happens after hard work or you work as a gardener and win the lotto and become a property developer or an interior decorate that flips property and then sells it for a profit......so many scenarios to try out.

In "Sims 3", sims with the "Good" trait could actually donate to charities. You could also either buy properties outright OR become someone's business partner to gain passive income. Isn't there a donation option in "Sims 4"?
