There is a (rough) strategy to being mated by force: Let's assume black pieces (strategy with white will be analogous). I'll assume the bot never willfully captures your pieces. 1) The bot will likely lead out with the Grob opening g4. This is EXCELLENT, exactly what we want. It means the g pawn has detached itself from the h pawn 2) Go h5. If he doesn't take on h5, you take on g4, then he'll likely play f3, in which case you also take on f3. If he takes on f2, great, if not, go forward until you attack the king and force him to take the pawn. Then block the h pawn with a rook. If he takes on h5, great, he has a doubled pawn and you block it with a rook. 3) If h5 wasn't taken: push your g pawn until g4. If captured en passant, get rid of the pawn that did the capture. Do not take his last h pawn. 4) Push your f pawn until you lose it or promote it. 5) Block two of his pawns closest to the f file. 6) Capture all his pieces and pawns except the king, one pawn on the h file and the two pawns to be guided to the f file. Shouldn't be too difficult. 7) Create slowly a trap for the opponent's king. Be careful about stalemates. Best trap is your pawns on the 3. row, a rook (the other rook) on a2, b2 or c2 and a bishop on d2. Moving the rook can control whether the trap is length 2 or 1. 8) Place your king on f8. 9) When you're ready move the blocked pawn, unblock the pawn, in the next move set the trap to length 1 (the opponent's king will never move again) and guide the pawn with forced captures to the f file, Do the same with the other pawn. Let them move until they reach f7 and f6. As his pawns are moving, move your pieces away so none of them (except the king) covers g8, g7, g6 or h8. 10) Now unblock the h pawn. It will take the treacherous route to h8 unopposed. If it attacks your g pawn (assuming it's still remaining), make sure to move the pawn forward to prevent capture. When it reaches h8 if it promotes to rook or queen it will be instant mate. If it promotes to a bishop it will be forced to move to g7 in the next move, mate. If it promotes to a knight it will be forced to move to g6, mate.
