Make it fancy is more of a creative expression since she can choose to make whatever she wants and add whatever she wants- recipes she already has in mind. This type thing challenges her to re-engineer a dish from scratch. That requires chemistry, engineering, and one could argue a higher level of technical skill.

If you live in the US too long you develop a complete aversion to the metric system. Its bad, if you try to use meyric get hives, a fever, itchy watery eyes, then begin measuring things in football fields, washing machines, and breadboxes.

Not at all. I don't want to miss even a moment of Rie. I just had to pause it so I could search out everyone else who just cannot get over how much of a beautiful flower Rie is. She is everything I want to be as a cook, personality included.
