I would like to add a point to this particular " DABUR AMLA HAIR OIL ", it is just so much popular because of the advertisement and the marketing strategy of DABUR brand. It is not much of a use, but people in INDIA use other AMLA Hair Oils as it really helps their hair.

I usually do oil treatments the night before I use a clarifying shampoo! Makes it easier to get out without multiple shampoos! Also plain amla oil will be much better than this product. Dabur is just a popular, cheaper, celebrity endorsed brand that has questionable ingredients. Think like tresseme or Pantene but south Asian.

I can't stand it's smell but you tried it. It's low-key a waste to use because of mineral oil, parabens and artificial dyes. It's better to get organic dried amla or amla powder and mix it with hot coconut or sesame oil,keep it in for 1 week then strain the oil and use it.

I'm Algerian and have heard about this oil for literally my entire life. There are even shampoos and hair serums that have it in them and are made by the same brand (i think). It is definitely placebo based upon the fact that indian people have such sikly smooth long hair due to genetics and other natural hair oils they use religiously and regularly. I have tried it before, though not consistenlty, and have seen no results obviously. I personally would rather use natural oils such as jojoba, olive oil...etc. Love you ❤

Its not always necessarily genetics actually.Modern Indians prefer using western products and in my observation not a lot of them have thick hair as their mother's or grandmother's used to and that points to lifestyle You should try using authentic amla oil or prepare amla or black cumin oil at your home which are far more effective ways for hair growth as well as healthy scalp.

@@nourghers my hair was pretty smooth, but Indians hate curly hair, my mom always used to brush them dry and do those big braids, from my childhood. I am now a teenager, so i colored my hair and straightened it a lot of times without any heat protectants. They are very damaged now, also the humidity in my city doesn't help 😭. I wish I lived in North Africa or something, at least humidity wouldn't be a problem.

@user-mc6zk8tc8c
@user-mc6zk8tc8c 2 жыл бұрын
@@roxisarobot I use a few drops on wet hair, only on the scalp. Hair is made up of dead cells hardened by keratin, so whatever nutrients you give it, it's not gonna have effect on the existing hair, it's gonna affect the new growths. This is why haircare results show up after a few months or even longer. The products that give immediate smooth results usually create silicone layers on hair, which is bad for hair. Some products use hydrolyzed proteins, that's alright. But the best thing you can do for your hair is keeping your scalp healthy. Rosemary oil works like a natural minoxidil, it promotes hair growth. And also remember to balance your scalp's pH around 3.5-4.5, everytime you shampoo your hair, which is the best pH for healthy scalp. It's the same thing as using a toner after using face wash, they are also used to bring the pH down.

@@SubhaChugh I know, I just meant that it's written with a normal e at the end, but it's really not big of a deal! :) also probs to you for knowing Dante Alighieri! People around me would just be like "Who???" 🤦‍♀️ And you're right, dark is better! :D especially since I've heard people totally butcher Dante. I swear I'm not overly obsessed with that name! 😂

2 months ago I changed my hair products and my hair has become so smooth! Here's what I do: I put organic argan oil 2h before washing my hair, then I use Faith in Nature shampoo and then Sukin conditioner. This conditioner is amazing, works wonders for my hair, you should give it a go 😌

Use any other organic Indian brand for hair oil bcz dabur is famous due to its availability in every single store. We Indians even eat amla like some snack. BTW u can try eating amla for few days and see the difference in skin and hair, don't eat raw bcz its very sour and harms the teeth, u can boil it in water and eat and even drink the water( we usually put it in while make rice and remove it later)

So my aunt gave me this because she bought it for herself and didn't like it. I've used it on my hair and I don't mind it but I've also used it to clean my wax pot... You're supposed to use oil to clean wax off, usually I use olive oil, but sometimes I'm lazy and don't want to go to the kitchen after waxing so I used this and it works! So there's a use for it if you don't want to waste it 😜

Watch out it turns the hair black 😬 ... We used it when we were young, my family & I and it really helps the hair to be healthy & long, but also give it a shinny black color .. Since you're blond use the brown bottle better, or just use it for the roots only if you don't want to have a dark hair color ❤️

It's cause this brand is cut with mineral oil and henna. A plain and pure amla/indian gooseberry oil shouldn't do that! It still has a slight green tint so I wouldn't recommend it be used on platinum blonds though just cause their hair gets stained so easily.

I am an asian guy and i even use it. The smell isnt that bad if you're born in asia countries because i smell worst. its pungent but acceptable. It definitely made my hair softer and "puffy". My hair is even darker. My suggestion is not to sleep it overnight because your room is gonna smell amla. As im writing this , im using it outdoor so the smell doesnt linger around the house. My family didnt like the smell. Indian barbers tend to amla oil for head massage.

I’m from the U.S. & therefore unfamiliar with the type of faucet system you have (or the characteristics of your water supply) but I was wondering whether you’re using a water filtration system to remove undesirable minerals from (and lower the ph of) your water. I hear it does wonders for improving hair health over time. 👩🏻‍🦰

For oils treatment you definitely has to leave it in your hair for way more than one hour … actually mostly overnight, because oils are very slow when it comes to penetrate the hair fibre .. that’s why many people don’t see any real results using oils for hair treatment… not enough time …
