I always talk about this "spark" and not specific to Jack here but more in line as a statistic. Yes, we have assists and goals that people always tend to look at. But most of the times there are moments (sparks) that happen that lead up and directly contribute to an assist then goal. One great example and will not use Jack but rather Rico Lewis. Rico's slide tackle to get the ball back is the "spark" that directly led to the first goal against Bournemouth which Alvarez scored. Yes, go ahead and re-watch the highlights, you will see what I mean. Also pay attention to his eager tip toe hopping as he expects the goal. These moments are rather quickly forgotten but ideally should be kept track of as a statistic.

Jack can even do more. He drags his shots just like Kyle Walker, making him predictable. Mancity's first shot at goal against Crystal Palace yesterday bodes well for Grealish's future. He went near post, but he had too much power and couldn't get the ball into the post. The idea was good, but the execution had too much power and couldn't control where the ball was going. You can tell he's getting a lot of feedback working with the coaches and learning and it shows

This guy has massively improved but hopefully he has more to give also control and influence the game

Instead of buying replacement of Bernardo, we can play Jack in the Midfield so that he can dribble from defense to attack since his ball progression is better and he doesn't lose a ball when he gets it plus his defense is getting better day by day and we can buy a left winger probably Rafael Leao.

He has been great this season but I believe he has the talent to go up a level. Time to start stat-padding with some tap-ins when we are 3-0 up in dead rubber game. Football these days is about G/A, he needs more G/As to get recognition from outside City.

Wish he could do something else than try to dribble, stop, pass backwards or sideways or shoot (or he gets a free kick). He rarely makes a cross to Haaland in front of goal. Its rather predictable the way he plays… always to the middle. Its a bit weird to have a right footed winger on the left and a left footed winger on the right and hoth loves to go inside to the middle. He runs a lot and is great with the ball in his feet, but…
