Not sure i agree with "greatest" ever player, which is not always the best ever player. I think Kompany remains City's greatest player, followed by Aguero and Silva. Yaya Toure is unfortunately often forgotten but his peak might have been the absolute best from a City player. He was practically impossible to stop. If KDB remains here for another 5 years then yes he'll probably surpass them all.

@@beastmry I agree kompany silva n aguero but I’d put KDB in with them because off how long already he has been with us and been amazing! Also I’m not old enough to remember the likes off bell summerby. So I’m classing it as prem player! Yaya were unbelievable for a few seasons but I feel he tainted it with off field comments, and not doing it as long as those other players?

Kevin constantly plays 10 seconds in the future. He knows where the other players are going to be. He makes passes work that no-one ever even think of trying.

When you watch a video like this, please keep in mind, English is a "second language for Kevin. British interviewers are not always "easy" to understand, as they can have heavier accents, which makes it harder to interpret the question. Kevin is not arrogant... he is confident... and that can sometimes be "lost in translation". He loves the game and his team-mates. He simply does whatever it takes to make it happen... whether it is a pass, cross or a goal. He has practised this to perfection, never worrying about "making mistakes", which is why he can get such BRILLIANT results. Thank you Kevin De Brunye for bringing so much joy, to so many people, for so many years. ❤

To everybody, As a Belgian I'm so proud about Kevin De Bruyne. At young age he came into the league. Right away you could see his incredible vision and perfectly weighted passes. Most of the time he plays high up the pitch. But, in my opinion he creates the best football at position 8. He turns football into excitement Any thoughts?

De Bruyne always has the qualities of an 8 even when he plays in a more attacking position. He still contributes defensively and drops back to carry the ball through the midfield. He’s a very well-rounded player. He even has played as a 9 for City and done very well at that too.

Absolutely insightful and would be amazing if there will be a series for this! Would love to hear from the likes of Bernardo with his pressing game, Haaland with his instinctive movements, or Ruben on how to spot and deal with dangers. Heck, could even bring back the likes of David Silva, Fernandinho or Aguero on what they see and do in their game.
