To expand on being a "Nasus" Raidboss creature, Thresh stacks a 1.5 on-hit for every Soul he collects, which doesn't hit as hard as an ulting Nasus with stacked Q, but is still quite enticing to build around. Add to that the stacking armor and AP and he does scale quite nicely.
With the newly revamped Titanic Hydra and Hullbreaker in Season 14, a split-pushing playstyle has opened up for Thresh in the Top lane by improving his waveclear, his dueling, and his tower taking. While hitting turrets, his Flay passive will continue to charge up for the unfortunate soul that tries to stop you, and if they came alone, and especially if you also bought Sundered Sky? They're done.

@@beeegman It's best if you're laning against an auto attacker you can wither but there doesn't need to be one. I go Aery + Manaflow + Scorch and spam cast E on enemy ADC to keep them low and scared to go for CS. E is your first ability max for this reason, with W max second. 2 points in E before a point in Q makes your lane pressure very strong. You can build either tank or AP depending on what you want/need. Rush a Tear or Sapphire Crystal if you're going tank for more mana (Build into either Fimbul or Frozen Heart). Rush Lost Chapter if you're going AP (Build into Luden's Companion). Lucidity Boots are necessary every game. If you're going tank, Knight's Vow rush is very strong to help provide utility to your ADC. Second tree Ingenious Hunter is also very useful, lowering trinket and support item cooldown to give obscene amounts of vision and vision control. If going tank use Solstice Sleigh, if going AP use Zaz'Zak's Realmspike. Both of these effects also get better upkeep with Ingenious. If you want to play this I recommend banning something like Milio because he can provide constant early sustain for his ADC.

you max E and in early game enemy adc can't do anything if your adc knows to auto atack enemy when you do that. Later supp nasus deals some ap damage from W and has armour reduction on that, also he is tanky. But imo its still trol pick there are plenty of better picks then that and if your adc is braindead you will lose from beginign because nasus supp has 0 carry potential he is fully dependent on teammates behaviour@@beeegman

@@Sebastian-oz1ljyou mixed up W and E, but it's generally true that Nasus can't just be thrown into any botlane to work. Though, you could play around with double support item and play with an ADC Senna and absolutely farm so much money and stats you win lane automatically.

Top Rell (I call it Lore accurate Rell) Rush cinderhulk then Heartsteel Build whichever cinderhulk item your opponent deals damage with Unending despair, abyssal mask, Jack’sho If you’re not against a tank buster essential runes are grasp, conditioning, shield bash, and Manaflow If you’re against a tank buster get phase rush, Manaflow, and celerity with shield bash and conditioning Max Q->W->E The playstyle is just basic scaling tank. Rell has some of the most ridiculous defensive tank scalings in the game, only kept in check by her lack of damage based scaling. So building Heartsteel, cinderhulk, and despair help with that while also giving even more scaling, waveclear, and sustain respectively. Abyssal mask specifically is hilariously good with Rell since her passive already shreds MR and Armor, abyssal mask in addition will make any enemy weak to her and her teammates magic damage while empowering Rell. In lane you just stabilize. Killing Rell is practically impossible unless you charge in uninhibited with W. You have more movespeed thanks to E passive and active, low mana costs, and an on-demand shield. Once you get ult you even have an instant pull-CC, making enemies never want to tower dive and giving you a way to cancel abilities. If they roam, you can follow without being in any danger due to your tankiness and movespeed. Played well you can literally tilt people into making bad trades/decisions and dying to Rell top since they struggle so hard trying to kill her.

I actually started playing hail of blades, titanic, runaan's botrk thresh top with really good results, the idea is that you auto 3 times with hail of blades, titanic reset and you, flail disengage and you keep doing that untill you kill your enemy or poke them out, I also take bone plating, ingenious hunter for item cooldown, and demolish

I've been running one of two builds. Full oneshot with statikk, sorcs, eclipse, maw, sunderer, inf Or hybrid burst/ps with statikk, greaves, bork, kraken, wits, maw. Hail on both and the second got me a 18/0 in ranked

i used to play Thresh ad top back in s13, and idk why Thydra into Radiant Virtue felt crazy good, it kinda gave more power fighting when you casted R, the isntant +10% hp bonus with the healing felt quite good, i'm sad that item is gone

I'm also testing thresh top... The only way to play it without no one skipping is on quick play mode... It's fun... Lately I tried the red rune of thunder and it works good for combos...

I had a lot of fun playing with Sundered Sky into Titanic with the item cooldown reduction rune (ingenious hunter). Honestly until they fix the crit damage on Sundered Sky I dont see a reason to not buy it;

The problem I run into playing any kind of on-hit Thresh is death sentence blocking me from using my auto attacks. Do you throw your Q on cooldown to keep them locked up, or do you prefer to get more autos in?

Double cast as quickly as possible. They'll still be stunned for the full 1.5s (not accounting for tenacity) but you'll unblock yourself from auto attacking when the dash is over.

Thresh is my favorite and most played champion, and Id like to reach out and thank you on behalf of all thresh mains For this video. Being a raid boss and playing thresh are my favorite two things to be in league.
