Congratulations to Dr Bosun Tijani on his ministerial nomination. I pray that he brings his experience to bear and transforms the Technology space in Nigeria. Having said that, I think a bruised Ego should not be the only response to a honest criticism, The Government and those tasked with the responsibility of running this country should understand that ordinary Nigerians bear a significant brunt of their actions or inactions and when citizens are faced with these frustrations they can vent out in unexpected ways. It therefore behoves on the government and its agents to be seen to be doing the right things most (if not all) of the time and to protect the image of this country Home and Abroad.

Anything done yesterday that was hinged on the truth has no repercussions. Bosun is fine without the ministerial position. He has not only fixed himself but the generation after him. His desire to serve is to be a positive impact on the system. If he was rejected, he still would have been fine. Just empower yourself and be economically independent of the system. This way, no one, not the system, can hold you to random, and you can always exercise your freedom.

@obehiokojie4066 Жыл бұрын
@@AbdulMAhmad was that act of Ganduje not despicable? Would you say that video was doctored? Will the withdrawal of her nomination make her less of whom she is? People can survive outside the realm of government. It is this tendency for patronage and rent-seeking that has turned people into slaves and sycophants to politicians and unable to say the truth to power. No wonder, the late Gani Fawehimi said that one must first be economically independent to be able to stand for the truth. He was tempted and lured with public appointments but refused because he didn't need such for his survival. Young people should develop their capacity to create value for themselves like Bosun has done, so they do not become slaves to the political godfathers.

That is why I always tell people that social media never forgets imagine a tweet he posted in 2019 has come back to hunt him in 2023 .in years to come most of our youths will regret what they are doing on social media .especially the ladies who always go naked and do silly things on social media .be careful what you do today.i believe this guy never imagined in 2019 that in 2023 Tinubu will be president and even nominate for screening as a minister to be.

This should be a lesson to all. You might tweet based on anger, frustration, or to impress others. Someday that tweet might be the reason why you are being denied visa, employment, or some life changing opportunity. I have always said that our youths are not emotionally matured. Hopefully we will learn from this.
