I show you how to upgrade and mod your Keyboard on a Budget and make it much more enjoyable to use. I modded the Keychron K2 V2 Hotswappable Edition for MKBHD.
I tried to keep it as affordable as possible for anyone to be able to replicate the same mods I made. That's why I didn't replace the switches or use any High-End Custom Keyboard parts and used affordable parts for almost everything.
If this video does well I definitely want to build a High-End Keyboard and make the Perfect Custom Mechanical Keyboard for MKBHD. This was a fun project and I had a great time working on it.
UPDATE: The New Custom Keyboard for MKBHD is being made and coming soon... And you might see it in future videos of The Studio Channel. Right now you can see this one being featured in The MKBHD Desk Setup Tour 2021. Btw, I made some changes to the keyboard after the video and sent it to Marques, mainly using better tactile Mode Signal switches and other minor adjustments to make it even better.

► Keycaps: I made a mistake here, Cherry Profile Keycaps aren't ideal for keyboards with north-facing switches (LEDs are on top) because there's interference and the keycap will hit the switch housing before bottoming out, making it feel a bit mushy, not a big deal, but just worth mentioning.
