For context, when Obama said mosquitoes don’t respect walls, he was trying to say that diseases (specifically those carried and spread by mosquitoes) are a global threat, which is why the globe should aim focus on improving healthcare. I saw the dougdoug mod a few days back, and was surprised, because there was no sponsorship of it yet. Later, I closed a few tabs and was super confused at several instances of 3-minute long doug voices screaming at me. Eventually, I started closing tabs intentionally to trigger the voices, and started using them as a podcast, while speedrunning Hollow Knight. 10/10 best Opera GX mod ever.

I have a visceral memory of the 2008 presidential preliminaries. I was in third grade, and all of my classmates were gathered around watching Obama give his speech on a shitty TV that froze sometimes. There was one frame it stuck on, where he had both his hands out with his palms facing each other, but not connected, like he was pantomiming holding something, and I distinctly remember one boy going “hehehe, video games”. No one laughed. No one acknowledged him. I don’t even remember his face. That’s all I can think of while I watch this video. Edit: No the boy was not me. I don’t have enough brain power to go on the internet and spin a fantastical story about how I’m not a loser, it was actually some other kid; I know I’m a loser, I have nothing to hide. Also I’m a woman. But it’s mostly the first part.
