Mint mobile has went down the drain. Once they decided to sell their customers out their services are always depriorotized. I switch to US Mobile yesterday. Hi I meant mobile I never had service when I was in congested areas even though I still never pass my data limit. I had no service practically

My problem I’ve been having is that when it works it’s GREAT-- however I VERY frequently lose data if in buildings or neighborhoods and since I am gig worked it affects me a lot. I’m in Detroit Meteo area. Affects me on a weekly basis, very regular

The promotion did not say for life anywhere. Only some KZfaqrs were saying that. If you read the actual terms you would see visible can discontinue the promotion at anytime. Terms are: “Discounted rate will continue so long as member maintains service on this Visible+ plan or until such time as Visible provides notice that the discounted rate has been discontinued.”

I got the 25 dollar plan and then a month later (dec) received an email saying if I upgrade I get visible + for 35 until I cancel service. So I upgraded.

I've recently seen that complaint. Yeah switching plans all the time sucks, especially when these are budget plans. People who care about their budget don't love increasing costs (even with more data)

On my bill date the $25 wasn’t there so I had to do the $29 but more data so I was ok with it

If you want to choose from all three, Red Pocket has them all. (Or at least did, it's always changing with MVNOs) I used RedPocket to have ATT, Mint to have TMO and Visible+ to have VZN. And for good measure, my wife is on Boost infinite for the Dish towers.

So they have 2 options, one that uses Verizon and the other is T-Mobile. Mint uses T-Mobile but they don't necessarily have the same structure as Mint sells additional data for $10 and $20. Seems to be a part of there income structure. I didn't use the T-Mobile version of US Mobile but it's not a guarantee that US Mobile and Mint Mobile work the same.

When you sign up for US Mobile they allow you to select either Verizon or T-Mobile. It's been this way for at least 5 years, but with physical SIM cards they send both in the intro package and you choose which to install and activate. I have not activated with eSIM and am unsure of the selection process, but you likely choose after entering your IMEI to confirm compatibility as there are still a few "Verizon-only" phones out there. They refer to Verizon's network as "Warp 5G" (black SIM) and to T-Mobile's as "GSM" (white SIM). The "warp" naming is a clue that they seem to prefer Verizon, but the website now offers a short wizard that recommends which network to choose based on which carrier you are currently using. If you wish to switch networks, US Mobile can probably do this with either a new SIM or an eSIM transfer. I have not tried to do this, but have used their customer service a few times since 2018 and they were great to deal with.

The t-mobile side is called GSM 5G and the verizon side is called WARP 5G, on the verizon side there is premium data(no deprioritizing) and no caps, streaming is set at 720p unless you have a 5G phone and the t mobile side you can stream 4k on 4g LTE with no limits but data is deprioritized during traffic@@RazorBlazer

US mobile is good. I have utilized my priority data and now running on throttled speed. I can still watch KZfaq, Netflix, and other stuff without any issue.

Sorry that happened! My experience was similar with both us mobile and visible plus. Now visible basic has buffering I experience but US Mobile is still great!

I'm wondering the difference between a regular SIM card, and an eSIM. I am thInking that there might be difficulties in performance with the eSIM as compared to a regular SIM. But that's just my speculation. I have had a lot of issues with the Visible plus plan as far as consistent quality of speed and signal, without having to go into airplane mode or resetting my phone while using eSIM

That’s very possible. Location makes the most impact. It’s not really a disagreement. Just your experience in your area. T-Mobile might not have the better performing area where you live

Well, it’s a big difference when towers are congested, I compared my US Mobile connection to a postpaid Verizon phone on the same tower and now I get the same numbers, up and down compared to not even a meg d/l( it was in the K’s). But US Mobile is only $29 compared to what he pays at $110/month😮
