I switched to plus and NEVER got the premium speed…I”m lucky to get over 5MBPS download!…the basic used to be better! I think I got screwed over. I called Visible and they said essentially “too bad”

Dark Star is fully optimized on Android. They still need to fix the lack of group chats on iOS. I switched from the iPhone to the Pixel with Dark Star and so far it's been flawless.

i'm currently leaving Mint after 2 years. In the SF Bay area..it worked great and I had no complaints. The price couldn't be beat. I now live in Phoenix metro area and the service here is terrible...zero data and emergency calls only are allowed on my phone most of the time. I recently did some travelling in Seattle and SoCal and also had very spotty slow reception in a lot of areas. I think success with Mint depends greatly on the area you're going to use the service so definitely take advantage of any free trials before switching

That’s in my area, so in my experience when it comes to coverage Verizon and AT&T are really close, but I would go with Verizon for the priority data. T-Mobile I’ve noticed more “no signal” areas, even though the coverage map says it has coverage there.

I have used US Mobile for several years now, and after some early hiccups, we have loved it . Was on Verizon for over a decade, and when I would have questions or problems, often times I would hang up after 45 minutes of being on hold. Has never taken more than six minutes to talk to a live person with US Mobile. And oh by the way, my annual bill with US Mobile is approximately $2600 less than with Verizon. Wish I had done it sooner.

I LOVE stories like this. Identical service, better customer service wait times, less expensive. I’m not saying prepaid is perfect but… $2600 back a year! That’s a vacation!

Mint mobile only slows video down on the $30 unlimited plan and the 40 plan. On the lower plans they don’t slow down Netflix or KZfaq. That said I like US Mobile better.

With the teleport feature you said you’ll basically have numerous eSims on your phone depending on how many times you teleport. With that being the case can’t you just remove the old eSIMs to avoid clutter or would that mess things up?
@evertonsway

Yes you can delete the eSIM every time you install the new eSIM, it won't mess anything up.

I’m a truck driver. I have Verizon post paid as my primary. I have two US Mobile eSIMs. One is the T-Mobile and the other is AT&T. I pay $18 for both, they are on a 2 GB shared plan. I only use them when I get into a Verizon dead zone which is rare. I just like having the coverage option out here on the road.

They should start creating a Teleportal Sim Card. Automatically switches to the best network. And uses the online teleport feature for more control but best used for failover networking.

They have a beta for multi-SIM plan so you can have two active SIMS on same Unlimited plan splitting the data for $15/mo extra. Then your phone if it supports DSDA can switch SIMs automatically based on coverage.

Haha, it’s actually not even that terrible in my opinion bc there’s an aspect of this teleport that I found annoying. So not total click bait but I gotta say, as a small KZfaqr, we don’t get the same promo so we have to have captivating titles and thumbnails.

Appreciate the vid. I have found with newer tech I’m sure it will go through a refinement process . I agree the esims can get cluttered. I’ve tried a few different services and have a bunch of old one on my iPhone. I actually use the flex plan. The 10 gigs and then unlimited 1mps is all I need for basic phone use. Wi-Fi is where I do my heavy lifting

I have been with mint for a few years. I find that I like my service through them. I think the reason I have not noticed any issues with data is that I used my computer for streaming mostly, and that's through a fiber service.

Tried Visible plus back in June and compared it to my T-Mobile service here in the LA area. T-Mobile ultra capacity network is on average more faster on download and upload speed compared to Verizon ultra wideband network which you can’t take advantage of everywhere. With T-Mobile it seemed I was always on 5G while was visible half the time I was still on LTE even though in the iPhone settings I had it said to use 5G. I also noticed I had more connection issues With Visible compared to T-Mobile. Not sure if that is an MVNO thing. I’m on a family plan and for now T-Mobile is the way to go. Especially since in my house I get full service and with Verizon I’m lucky if I get two bars. I also took a road trip and it always seemed I had better service with T-Mobile than with Visible/Verizon.

I pay close to $200 a month for 2 lines (unlimited) with Verizon. My internet is with Xfinity. When they asked me who my cell phone provider is, I smiled at the person and told him, "Not Comcast." Then I explained that I have been with Verizon for at least 20 years, and there's one reason for that: Their customer service is second to none. A very close second is their reliability. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
