due to school and other stuff, i have been watching xisuma less, but i got to say, the building he does is really great. i really think that lighting trick with the columns is amazing, makes the bottom copper bulb almost seem like a spotlight aimed upwards and reflecting off the wall, I would imagine bdubs would like this trick aswell!

Wow nice one X! You managed to discover how I do all my blaze farms! One tip to stop blaze from jumping when hitting them, is to place leaves on the wall of the kill chamber. Also it doesn't matter that lava is slow to move the blaze, as once you get them out of the range of the spawner, the speed to move them isn't the problem. Same with other mob spawners, getting them to drop low enough out of the range of the spawner. And as always, it would be so nice if the top results on the internet just showed this, but no it's buried in the wiki hard to understand, or on 1 single old drawing from maybe 10 years ago

I was looking at the copper grates in the waterway and thinking of something. I worked with copper gutters and normally the part exposed to the most water is what is oxidized the most. Obviously you’re going for a style, but I figured I’d throw that in there haha.

What's crazy is that it's probably easier to get copper from trial chambers now, I filled half a shulker with waxed oxidised copper from the floor of one room

I have an idea for the next hermit base tour stream. Mobless nighttime for the time of the show. Hermits are quick on skipping the night cycle and it is rare that we see their bases glow and shine in the dark. It would be fun to see how hermits might prepare for that kind of look. Placing strategic lightsources around or going raw at it!

When I was a kid our family bought a purebred dog, from a kennel named Storytime. His father and mother was named Hansel and Gretel of Storytime, and the rest of their dogs had 'story time' themed names. The name I picked was Goliath of Storytime. He was a tiny Yorkshire terrier. 🤪😜

Mentioning guardfall really brings me back, i think that was one of the first videos of yours I watched back in the day. In the main room of the copper shop you could make some of the lights flicker occasionally and add some dripping water to the ceiling to really sell the ambiance!

You can put water in the roof above the grates on the wall so the story for all the different ages looks like water only dripped on some grates and missed others.

In the blaze farm, I'm pretty sure you can use pressure plates to trigger the pistons without needing redstone. But even then, 4 buckets of lava is way simpler.

I have to say Goliath sign with the farm the blaze farm and the copper pet are great. I think your right about the thunderstorm with where the copper farm is but if you put 4 lighting rods 6 or 8 blocks away from each corner of the farm. I think that will help out.

Beautiful shop. Gnembon's blaze farm just uses the blaze AI against them. A little more setup than what you have currently, but no redstone, so much simpler than other blaze farms.
