Update - uber has got in touch - "we're sorry to hear the issues you've faced with your courier account. We have reviewed your account and it seems that a configuration setting prevented you going online. We have made some adjustments to your account snd you should be able to resume taking trips" Obviously ive asked for the exact configuration error and more information on this. I do believe in giving 2nd chances and i like i mentioned on my community tab post in order to film the 3am 4am episodes i cant do it without ubeteats... the thing that got to me most from this whole situation is that for days and days i emailed the support team and got no reply.. then i upload this video and less than 24 hours later i get an explanation. I really wanna understand what this error is not just for my account but also other riders out there that may run into this same issue, i would like to be in a position where i can help riders if this happens so i have requested a full explanation into what went wrong. End of the day this channel will continue with or without them and i will make my decision based from the reply im waiting for.

Happened to me aswell but I just got it back a day or two ago they took a few days to respond but when the did they said it wasn’t configured properly so your not banned just issue on their end

... try refusing orders from a McDonalds full of drunk teenagers and fist fights outside with a average 30 min wait on a saterday night and they will stop giving you orders. After 6 months realizing i was working less than minimum wage after paying insurance and petrol. This channel is fake the guy works to promote working for these companies even though he says they banned him when they do that anyone with common sense realities that they are not doing it again,

Hey, I have my own Thai take away business operating in a rural part of the country (family run, I know completely different from London lol) and we use polystyrene blocks inside those delivery bags to divide orders or fill gaps so that the bags don't fall or contents move around inside. We just ordered them off amazon very cheap, cut them to size and covered with plastic sheets to prevent wearing. Just an idea so you don't have to worry so much about spills etc. Your channel randomly appeared on my youtube feed btw. I really like your content and you seem like a really chill guy with good energy. It's no wonder you got 100% satisfaction through Uber eat customers. Good to see an honest and hardworking guy making a name for himself. Good luck bro!

I lived there for a short while in 3 places in a year - what amazed me was hes not sat in bloody traffic :D hes zappin around on his bike makin dosh i assumed the 1.99 delivery fee went to them not a fiver a pop cos the indian uy here has a van he does that many n he has like ban maries whatever they are called ,to keepp stuff warm properly - he must be totally invested cos youd need to clear 50 quid a day just to make it worthwhile

Don't worry about them, honestly, if they don't appreciate what they've got they're stupid. I wish the delivery people here in this country were half as conscientious and as caring as you are. You have such a high work ethic and you actually care about the customer. You would be an asset to anyone you worked for. Keep up the good work and if they can't even do you the courtesy of reaching out and explaining themselves, they don't deserve you.

@@LondonEats i've been fucked over by Deliveroo, cut my orders by 90% in favour speeding riders that will work below minimum wage. Apparently their "AI" did it, but it's bullshit, they just illegally flushing older riders.

@@Arman-ch5vi - It's part in parcel of what happens in the gig economy, unfortunately. There's pros and cons to it, but if you're going into the gig economy always have backups, because at the end of the day it's not permanent employment and it's only a contract that can be rescinded at any moment. With that being said however, I am quite surprised at how difficult it seems to get in touch with the right people for the delivery gigs; when I worked in payment gig, I could pick up the phone and be speaking with someone in 20 seconds if I ever had any issues - though then again it's a very different environment.

Uber is in the absolute pits. I wouldn’t worry at all about them. Recently when I order, my food comes cold, I’ve had so many spillages, leaving my food outside in the cold, not speaking a single word of English (which I’m not too bothered about) but when there’s a problem and you’re trying to communicate it’s hard. The company doesn’t deserve people like yourself. Hard working and willing to speak your mind.

i feel you, i got deactivated for bad rating and the email said the minimum was 88%... which it got up to AFTER my account was deactivated. Contacted support more times than i can count and they are the most useless ive ever experienced its frustrating to no end. And no, I didn't eat anyone's food or anything I was just new at delivering and the 5 bad reviews i got nuked my account

Shit like this that then creates a huge influx of new riders which reduces the already limited pool of available jobs. Shit like this that also makes people believe it's acceptable to be accepting jobs from more than one platform at a time. and finally, no. Roo & JE seem to have enough common sense to realise there's far too many riders, so you can't just signup & go. But it's fine. There's plenty of people with fake accounts and GPS spoofing, so just join those!

Japanese food fan here! Usually the price of the sushi will depend on the quality of the fish, and how it was farmed ect. You can get really good low priced sushi in London, but for fancy Sushi it's usually a different fat content, with better quality meat. Your comment about Essex Police made me chuckle, my ex worked for Essex Police and they went to London often as the MET was so busy.. sadly, he was a weirdo so the relationship ended :'D Best of luck with Deliveroo, JE and other apps. Liquor for pie and mash is a veloute-type sauce made from parsley and eel stock. You can make a similar one at home super simply by using fish stock cubes instead - and a whole load of parsley!. Just remember - if you're vegetarian and ordering parsley sauce: check what it's made from, as it's often eel or fish stock. And if you're muslim, jewish, hindu, pescetarian etc., jellied eels might not be suitable for you because they can be prepared with pork or beef gelatine. It all comes from traditional pie and mash shops in london where wastage was kept to a minimum - the stock from the eel heads would make the parsley sauce. The bones from the beef pies would make the gelatine for the jellied eels. It was all about using what you can and lead to some really tasty food, but there are lots of ways to make these simple recipes tailored to you at home, and if you haven't tried pie mash and liquor, definitely give it a go - perfect on a Saturday afternoon!

I’m interested in hearing Uber’s response as a company as mainstream as them should be able to take honest constructive criticism. You’re a great example of who they should listen to as your ratings obviously show you care about your customers. Honestly if they let go of great people like you then there will be nothing left of them in the future lmao. Keep up the content man, love the insight into the industry.

Worked in the takeaway side of things and every time you had to deal with Uber support (which was usually several times a night) it was a complete fucking nightmare. Staff didn't care, they'd just cancel every order that was a problem and refund the customer, leaving the customer blaming the restaurant for Uber issues. Got to the stage where we were actively advising customers to avoid using them. They threw money at the market with those non stop massive discounts (that they never communicated to restaurants in advance so suddenly you're getting slammed on a random night when you've only staffed for a normal one) in the hope they could force themselves to have market share. Glad to see it didn't really work.

Seems like everyone's experience is UberEats are the worst of the lot. Absolutely terrible customer service for restaurants, drivers, and orderers. The few times I've ever needed to deal with Deliveroo or Just Eat they were fine. But UberEats are a nightmare every single time. Just not worth the headache dealing with a company so poorly run it's almost hostile.

First video I've seen from you, nice video! Interesting how you go up to people's apartments in the UK. In my country the customer must come down to pick up the food or we're able to just cancel it. Easier system for everyone involved I think since parking is sparse.

Uber Driver in NL here, Uber has been atrocious for me recently. Just like you said, low pay and no orders, atleast for me it seems. Other Ubers I see get lots orders in a row while I stand and wait for hours lmao. After finding out Uber Support is actually the one in need of support it's safe to say I'm done with Uber as well.

Upon hearing this, I've just deleted my Uber Eats app too.. Pathetic, childish and cowardly behaviour. From what I see, you work bloody hard - and always bust a gut to deliver orders on time with the highest standards... even for the orders offering less money! Their loss. Power to you brother.

Uber have got to be the worst of the delivery apps where I live imo, there's never enough choice and the fees compared to Just Eat and Deliveroo are ridiculous. It's always too high to justify including a tip and I always like to tip the riders!

Dude !! Your videos are amazing. I do the same job in Turkey but there is a big difference between you and me. I usually wait at least 15 mins to get my order and then deliver it to the customer also there is no elevator on buildings so I have to climb 3 or 4 floor. When I deliver my order next order will be appear about 10-15 mins later. So it's hard to work in TURKEY :(

A few restraunt owners told me "just order from us it's much cheaper and we deliver". Yeah okay, but what are you going to do with the like 5 people who remember me really well from just eat and I can have a genuinely good conversation with when getting my food? One was just an old bloke who just seemed to be a bit bored and we got talking, then one was a woman around my age who forgot my drink and was kind enough to run back down the stairs and get it for me. Pure legend, she'll never forget that, but always puts a smile on my face as she remembers me. Appreciate the work these delivery drivers do for lazy sods like me. :)

I haven’t used Uber eats for nearly 12 months since the driver pulled up outside my house with my McDonald’s and then drove off and said he’d delivered it and I never got my £25 back!

Yes….the driver had said he delivered it so it was my word against his! I contacted my bank and they got my money back,then 28 days later my bank had taken the money back because Uber rays had disputed it 😦

Here's a tip to prevent the contents of food from tipping over and making a mess inside your bag: Take a party balloon with you and inflate it enough so it neatly fills up the empty space in the bag. When you've inflated it enough, clip the balloon shut with an extra tight hair slide (barrette). That way you can adjust the amount of air inside the balloon by small amounts on every delivery without having to inflate an empty balloon each time.

This type of thing happening to workers always makes me so upset. The companies can’t cope with the fact that social media exists. For example, I worked at Target and I knew I’d be fired on the spot if someone found out I’d filmed inside of one of their stores, but at the time I was thinking “Emma Chamberlain could make every single video about Target and nobody would care.” And another job of mine, a department store, had this “cool” idea where we could be brand ambassadors online and share their clothing - but it meant that our entire account had to fit their standards in every way, like giving up your own account and free expression just to make a few bucks from them. So yeah… I think there are some companies that don’t want to be talked about period. Starbucks baristas get fired for talking about Starbucks online. One of my favorite tiktok accounts was an Amazon Flex delivery person, and she got banned with no explanation as well

Just in terms of the boots, I would say on a scooter you're absolutely fine in trainers - biker boots are armoured so your ankle/heel isn't crushed under the bike, but on a scooter, you don't have an engine between your legs that is going to land on your foot anyway, and no gears to shift on your left toe so I would probably wear some comfy trainers too if I'm doing all that walking! Love your stuff, only just found your channel!

I rarely used ubereats but it was really handy to have when I wanted to work in the middle of the night however I just found out there are certain zones open 24/7 on deliveroo so should be good to go for the 3am shifts
