congrats on your new role at R&N jamie, i was actually up at both schuylkill haven and port clinton today. just to get out on a nice sunny day and see trains. i actually went into the office for the first time at PC and got a visitors pass to walk around the property. everyone at R&N is really friendly and very accommodating. you are in a great company. and it clearly shows it. i know conductor bill is happy knowing you are following in his footsteps. and im sure he'll be with you every step of the way. boy seeing all the first class cars up close in person is just incredible. the north by northwest, the king coal, mauch chunk, parlor car 3, the black diamond. just absolutely beautiful cars. congrats again.

Any chance you'll get assigned to the Parlor Car during the Iron Horse Rambles this summer?

Reading and Northern is way better than that other big railroad which parallels the R&N’s track on the Lehigh Gorge Railway regular runs route for several miles. That other railroad has a horse as it’s logo. They had steam excursions again from Sept. 2011 to May 2017, and in late August 2015 from Bethlehem to Pittston with NKP 765 which belongs to the Fort Wayne society from Indiana. But now they want nothing to do with excursions again.
