Drill the edge of shock piston to create a semicircle. This will permit better flow of the silicone.

Always great videos and content! Recently ordered my first 1/24 rig, the Silver Eagle. Dont think any of my shock oil is under 350! Guess I need to order some! I did order the full bearing set, because I dislike that the v2 stayed roughly the same price, but the quality of the parts went slightly down... v1 had full bearings, and they do make a load of difference, especially over time... Looking forward to raiding your library for fcx24 content now!! Thanks again!

For information, if you use injoras wheels, (bigger + foam inserts) there is no need of oil

i did put 10 WT / 100 CST shock oil and i put 4pcs "Fluffy hair band (6-7cm diameter)" insert into those tires and the dampening result is amazing its works like air shock 🤣😂. cant find any 1inch inner foam tires at my country, so must think creatively.

Much better indeed! But is seems like the rear could use some softer springs (I guess we can wish only as much out-of-the-box in this class of vehicles). And thanks for the details about filling shocks -- I learned something today :) BTW, when you are changing oil in a shock - do you just pour the old one and then pour the new in, or do you use some solvent to clean the shock before pouring the new oil in?

Hmm if softer spring is available Yea bro. Because this shock internal design isn't the same as those 1/10 ones I use a shringe to suck it out, or just pour it out, then squeeze tissue into it to absorb it as clean as i can.
