The Malls in Asia are awesome. There are micro cities with Churches, Health care facilities, etc... ive been to the malls in the USA and they do not compare.

SM Aura is more like a mid-range mall. The Greenbelt and Rockwell malls in Makati still are the high-end ones.

You can even rent an electric scooter or bike to move around in BGC or even outside and rent a space or co working for more quiet place ..✌🏼🇫🇷

Yes Zane, you are right, The goods at the SM Store are mostly SM brands -- from clothes to shoes, etc. They even have a line of different grocery items. SM is usually cheaper than the other brands.

I think BGC is the most pet friendly township in southeast asia. In highstreet, there are more dogs in stroller than babies. Also notice too that the malls here have paw parks for the pets.

Zane, just some perspective. SM Aura was intended to be the "luxury" version of SM malls, not ultra luxury per se as there are more "high end malls" in the Philippines relative to SM Aura. And also, malls in the the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries are popular because of the airconditioning. Southeast Asian weather is either warm or hot. Malls provide cooling to the public. Go to other ASEAN cities, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Singapore, KL, they all have malls with good airconditioning. Jakarta in particular also has a lot of malls. Aircon is the key. 😉

Podium Mall in Ortigas Business Center is the most beautiful up scale mall in the Metropolitan Manila.

Hello. Metro Manila alone has 185 malls and two new malls will open this year. I don’t know the total number for the whole country.

When it comes to malls it is dominated by the SM malls, Ayala malls, Megaworld malls, Vista Malls, Filinvest Malls. They are spread across the Philippines specially in busy areas. These malls are owned by Filipinos with different ethnicity like Filipino -Chinese families, Filipino -Spanish families, pure Filipino families. I would also suggest that you visit the Quezon City area too. So much to explore. Our beaches are superb but our urban cities are bustling too. When it comes to business districts we have BGC, Makati, Ortigas, Eastwood, Cubao, Greenhills, Pasay district , Malate district, Parañaque district. Enjoy the Philippines. Try visiting Baguio our summer capital, Pangasinan.
