This stove is crazy!
- Crazy Design!
- Crazy Low Price!
You may be aware that here on the channel I have reviewed many strange and different stoves; different in that they feature designs and features that aren’t common with the majority of stoves that are out on the market.
Today we are going to take a look at another one of these strange stove - it cost $11.28 and at that price it includes the stove, the case and a butane gas adapter.
The main focus of this stove is the design of the burner heads…that’s right, this stove has 3 burner heads which is exceptionally uncommon when it comes to backpacking / camping stoves.

The listing for this stove doesn’t mention running pure propane but I have seen other stoves that are identical to this one that come with propane adaptors. Your reply is THE reason I read 'em after watching videos. Having the capability to burn 3 different fuels is a definite PLUS. 23 btu output is twice the btu output of my Soto Windmaster, which I have no plans to replace. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada

I have the Amazon version. It is basically the same quality. It works great, and have the BRS-3000T single burner. It’s like night and day. Having no gage to measure the fuel consumption, I have to agree that this works for medium size pans and the BRS for smaller pots or cups.

I have this stove and can also hook up to propane. It’s perfect for the morning coffee emergency. I wanted something very stable. I put a small bush raft screen on it so small pots are stable.

I absolutely love this stove; it's a bit noisy, but that's expected from a company known for making airhorns for semis. I personally own three different models. Some may complain about the noise, and indeed, at maximum settings, it does rumble, and fuel consumption goes up. Yet, I've had no issues, even here in Colorado at 14,000 feet. Plus, Jetboil fans might be jealous of its size and the ability to cook more than just noodles and boil water (just kidding). The boil time is slightly longer than Jetboil's, but if you have time to sit with a Jetboil to boil water for coffee, you can spare an extra minute and save $90, in my opinion.

Great review, Luke! Wow! For 11 bucks and change, it would be worth buying two of them, one for my backpack and one in my van. That adapter would come in handy as some stores are out of one or the other fuel.

I've been using the single head one for more than a year. Works like a charm and hasn't given any problems. In my opinion, I prefer the single head to the triple head for more controlled gas consumption. I also use an adapter for spray can size gas canister to ease of packing. It's not your BRS3000 but when I cook outdoors, I don't want a tiny flame.

Thank you for the review. I picked up one of these on Temu because of it! It was a total of $17.58. The stove was $15.27 and the adapter $2.31. It didn't come packaged in a cardboard box but did have the same orange case as in your video. It looks exactly the same as your stove, orange gas block and all. The body and burner heads are stainless steel. The gas block aluminum. The only thing I noticed that wasn't stainless were the two screws inside the burner cup that hold the gas block to the body. On mine those were zinc plated screws. I measured them and they were M4x32mm. I didn't want rusty screws so I ordered some M4x30mm on Amazon and swapped them out. Even though they were 2mm shorter there was still plenty of thread to tighten down nicely. I suppose you could use M4x35mm and cut them if they were too long. At least the screws are now stainless steel as well. This should make a great group camping stove!

Interesting concept and honestly for a kit to keep in the car as part of your vehicle emergency kit couple this with the normal green propane tanks with the correct adapter would make a good kit that should fit into one of the larger camping cooking pans for storage. I really like the position of the igniter and also like the long hose with the burner adjustment at the fuel bottle rather than on the stove near the burners. This type of use weight would not be a factor but still overall a nice compact unit that does not take up a lot of space. I see a lot of people commenting on added fuel consumption as compared to a single head stove and yes it makes sense the 3 heads will flow more fuel BUT what has to also be taken into the equation concerning fuel use is it will be running for a shorter time period to heat something to a given temp so total fuel consumption may be more equal between the two designs than one would initially think. May consider buying one of these and giving it a try. Love your videos as they really include budget items for the average guy to consider adding to their kit which may not see really heavy use but is still nice to have available.

For myself: BTUs do matter in colder weather. The 3 heads seem more likely to distribute heat across a medium-sized pot or pan. I really LIKE this one.

Thanks for that review. My friend just bought that same stove in Israel. The store had no idea where it came from or the brand. They sold it to her for $25.00 as they were clueless as to what the real price was supposed to be and never received any information about it. I couldn't believe it when I began to watch this as we had just tested out the time it took to boil and how efficient it was. We were pleasantly surprised! Mystery solved!

And some change with shipping however it didn't come with the adapters even tho the picture shows it comes with it. Oh and it said it would not be here (Indiana) until after Xmas so super happy when we got it in just 3 weeks! Thanks for the review your awesome!! A company called Bulin has been making these multi burner stoves for some time, from 1 to 9 burners in many configurations. I bought the 6800w(3 burner)version on a whim about 4 yrs ago from Amazon to use during times of winter truck camping/hunting, it's a gas hog for sure but I run it from a 20lb propane bottle so no worries. It'll go through a butane/iso canister pretty quick. This one looks eerily similar in some ways and use so, same mfg different name as you say? Thanks Luke.

Hi Luke!: I purchased one of those ones from Amazon with the extra stuff. But it was a Amazon Day deal and was less than $30. It came with an adapter for propane cans. I am sure it will run with one of those butane adapters, am going to try it and see how it works out! A real BEAST of a stove! Might try to boil water with all three different kinds of fuel to see how each one does.

I do not see a fuel tube near the burners, so this is a warm weather stove. The reference to the wind and temperature cooling the fuel canister, indicates the issue. The canister stove fuel is a blend of gasses. The denser ones will be unusable in cold weather after the propane burns off. As we are going into the winter camping season, I bring this up. There are some canister stoves with a fuel preheater tube close to the burner. With these, one can invert the canister and use the liquid fuel, which the referenced tube will vaporize for burning. Read and follow the instructions to be safe.

Pretty neat. Great content as usual. A side note, wind does not affect the temperature of inanimate objects... tables, fuel canister, glasses etc. What was likely happening is that the extra fuel flow caused the canister to cool quicker than normal which made it look like the wind was cooling the fuel canister. Really like the reviews! Keep them coming! Thanks!

I bought a similar stove with a propane adapter. I tested it out with both propane and butane and it boiled water fast. I do not have experience with camping stoves. I bought it more for survival purposes. I made the mistake of using a cup. It barely fit on the pot stand and as you said, the flames were going around the base of the cup and I burned myself. Lesson learned.

I like the unique 3 burner config, the price, and the dual fuel capacity of this stove, Luke. What I do not like is the inability to use small cups/pots effectively and the possibility that this stove might burn through fuel faster than a single burner one. Not to mention I have to buy this from a Chinese Co. and sites. If I had not already bought an Msr Whisperlite years ago, I might have considerd it. But since I have, and considering the cons, I believe I will pass on this one until I get an RV.

QUESTION: How adjustable is the flame? My biggest complaint with most backpacking stoves (even the high quality ones) is that they're basically afterburners only good for boiling water. Finding a good quality stove w/ ADJUSTABLE heat to actually cook on backpacking trips is challenging!

I bet this stove would be nice if you're planning on cooking since it would distribute heat more across the bottom of a pan or pot

Using propane on the benchtop in a pot without a lid I brought 16 oz of room temperture water to a full boil in 1:25. that's the fastest time ever for any of my stoves. If you need to heat something fast this is the stove for it.

In my experience, the 3 burner heads distributing the heat over a broader area is better than a single burner blasting a single point. For this price, and this review, I'm definitely picking one up for the trips when I'm out with a small group.

This is also where a normal larger single burner along the style used on a standard Coleman camping stove will actually be better using a container that is large enough to keep the flame contacting the bottom of the pan. In my opinion the little single small head backpacking stoves are designed mainly to heat up some water in a cup type container for a hot beverage or to reconstitute a dried type of meal on the trail.

There is one with 7 burners from bulin for a C note. At a weight of 4 1/2 .lbs not sure why they call it a back pack stove unless it's a pack on the back of a mule.
