one thing i don't understand is why do drivers like to use the same muddy water logged deeply sunken tracks left by other vehicles wheels that also got stuck before. I mean the area around the 2 wheel tracks are not as muddy, less water and visibly more intact, why don't they use it ? surely the chances of getting stuck will be less, right ?

So MUX with standard diff and traction control would be no good for towing a medium weight boat on medium rough muddy tracks and pulling that boat and trailer out of a muddy lake, seems like i would be more likely to get bogged right or wrong like to hear what you think.

I drove uphill in deep snowy mud. TC off 4H didnt work as good as 4H TC on. with TC off i lost momentum cause of the wheelspin

Why should you deactivate the traction control ?
@anthonyramdin10375 жыл бұрын
Traction control is not effective in mud. It kills your momentum which is essential on slick mud like what you saw in this video. Only vehicles with off road modes can use traction control in mud as these modes will tailor the traction control to work effectively in mud. Cheers

@@anthonyramdin1037 ✌ Is the normal traction control only for roads ?
@anthonyramdin10375 жыл бұрын
@@ebinbelji7381 Well for 4x4s in rear wheel drive the traction control is suited for roads. When you switch into 4 hi the traction control system is adapted for off-road situations.

@@anthonyramdin1037 don't you need diff locks , otherwise won't you loose power ?
@anthonyramdin10375 жыл бұрын
@@ebinbelji7381 diff lockers are only used in 4 low when traction control is switched off. Traction control kill momentum thus inefficient in mud. Traction control helps when driving on uneven terrain. However diff lockers are better than any traction control system.

Why would you want to turn off the traction control?
@RNicknackpaddywhack5 жыл бұрын
never mind. I researched it. It's to keep it from stealing momentum so you don't sink. Apparently you want it off in mud, soft sand, and maybe deep snow? Other offroad situations you want it on I guess.

Those tires are not all-terrain that's why I don't get the job done properly I understand
