They must've updated the bracelet because on my now older Aquascaphe the bracelet had a taper (I'm pretty sure it was 20 to 18) and the clasp was a friction clasp not a 2 button release. Either way the actual watch has been on my list for a minute, I just wish I could see it in person tho. Anyways hope you enjoy it!!

Interesting to know, it's always a bit annoying not being able to see a watch in person. first but we can assure you it's a great looking piece in person too, and as long as you don't mind a light watch I think it's difficult to be disappointed by it. Thanks for commenting!

Pre-orders are starting again on Oct 13th still not sure if I should get this. If I did it would also be on the beads of rice bracelet as well. Congrats on the watch! It's a beauty 🍻

What is putting you off? The bracelet is very nice and you get it cheaper when you get it as an option on the watch

@@TheWatchScientists No seconds hacking, no screw down crown I think and I've read the rotor is pretty loud.

The rotor is really not that loud. Every now and then you may hear it a bit. And why would you need a screw down crown on a dress watch? Hacking seconds I can understand but you can also only pack in so much for that price

I was this 🤏 close to buy this watch (salmon) with the lion strap but at the end I cancelled the pre order because this would have been my first expensive watch and I was scared of the price I remember that I was in love with this watch 😢

Do you mean the watch or the movement? The case and bracelet seem very durable, the movement i will have to wear the watch for a while to find out. I will make a video about it ;)

I have both the bracelet and a leather strap. It has normal lugs

This is a beautiful watch, the only thing that keeps me from buying it is the movement. Another interesting watch is Studio Underdog, a chronograph but they are using, as well as Baltic,an chinese movement. In my opinion this movements shows something that they aren't and that's a high end movement. I wish they would keep it more industrial and simple as the Seiko movemnts 4R or Cal. 400 from Oris.

I know what you mean and only time will tell if the movement is quality built. I will do a video of my experience when i wear it for 10 days straight. To see how the accuracy and the power reserve are. But i think in general Chinese movements have gotten better :)

I own a seagull 1963 watch with the ST-19 movement and so far it's been great. 1.5 yrs in and no issues. Hopefully the Baltic will be just as good with the Chinese movement.

In my experience with the watch (almost a year now), both the winding efficiency and the accuracy are really bad. Beautiful watch nevertheless, but my last Chinese movement for sure.

Oh almost forgot, the crown feels very fragile, when you pull it out you almost always get to some “dead zone” which doesn’t wind nor moves the hands. I sound like I hate the watch but the truth is I like it, it is so beautiful. if these were fixed I would pay 10x the price😅
