I started to follow your journey shortly after COVID broke out (I was in shock/bored/confused/had nothing to do at home so I watched all of your previous videos all at once). It feels like it's been so long and when you announced that your journey has ended and I was like OMG finally! Anyway, I feel happy for you, and thank you for sharing your amazing experiences with us.

So very touching and inspirational! I certainly can relate well with different type of life journey. It is all about the mental stamina that overrides the thought of quitting. Kudos to you 💪

while my walking of a few thousand kilometers is miniscule in comparison, I love hearing how you describe the intricacies of this lifestyle choice. The flies in the face and the big doubts. I sat in a guesthouse in Thessaloniki for 2 weeks waiting for the bone in my foot to heal enough so that I could walk and finish my Way to Istanbul... and all the rain afterwards as seasons changed... so much rain. No shoes, only Crocs, going through socks as fast as my breakfast lentil soup... the flies were around.. and the traffic walking into Istanbul.. the millions of cars at night.. but of course, it's nearing the end for me and I just push and push... But yea.. it's dwarfing in comparison.. and nobody can offer any kind of satisfying encouragement for what you finally finished. We can say all the good things but... they dwarf in comparison to what's required lol. Glad to have followed the journey.. and Covid. fuck me. I sat in Almaty for 1 year thinking... why? why am I sitting here so I can finish some stupid thing like hitchhiking across a continent. Nobody cares. And its still true. Nobody cares. I've got a handful of peeps that follow me a bit.. but literally it only mattered to me. And that was enough. The sense of finishing. accomplishment. the inner joy of completing the task as best as I could. Buen Camino

You are looking good, bro. Great way to break down quitting. The little thinking about quitting is almost always guaranteed for all of us not named Buddha. Forward movement is one of the best cures. Big thoughts of quitting take a little more resilience. I still say forward movement is one of the best cures, but visualization (imagining yourself at that lake with caboose) is a great thing to stack on top. Thanks for just being you! 🤘🕓

Good to know this of you 雷。 I'm on the opposite thinking of quitting my life in China and starting a new somewhere else in this world. I don't want to have anything connected to that perverted reign of commy in my life ever again.

You're back in Vienna? That's awesome. That's a place I have been wanting to go for a long time. Do you have a top 5 or 10 places to visit in Vienna? Any restaurant recommendations in Vienna? What is the best restaurant you found along the Longest Way?

I can only imagine that it's not easy starting a relationship on the road. After the breakup you mentioned, did you find anyone else? Or maybe did you feel like you were missing out by always being single?
