Matt has so much of Daemon's personality. Moody. Impatient. Hates council scenes. Rather have a sword. While Paddy is patient like Viserys. Doesn't want conflict. Perfect casting.

This interviewer is the best at what he does. Never get tired of his questions, and he treats the guests like real people who just happen to be part of a cool show.

Now we know how patient Paddy Considine must have been. His makeup to make him look like a diseased and sick old King just keeps getting better and better.

I know everyone is raving about Matt he is amazing. Personally though I think Paddy needs to get way more recognition. His portrayal of the king is fukcing magnificent. Such a nuanced performance

What I like about this show is Alicent seems totally like someone who in the modern age would be that perfect soccer mom. Sweet, kind, protective of her kids. But in a completely different age and under totally different circumstances, she is something else entirely. And I suppose thats always what I've loved about Martin's works. He tells a story about humans. Not a story about good vs evil.

I love how much both Rhaenyras and Alicents actually just adore each other and they're completely gleeful together in these interviews. I mean, rarely do you get people who genuinely hate each other on set - other than Lena Headey despising Jerome Flynn so much post-breakup that she literally demanded they never be onscreen together again - but this was really fun to watch in the context of the characters utterly _loathing_ each other and the actors just breaking out laughing about set experiences over and over.

I love watching Paddy and Matt in interviews, you would think they were best friends in real life. I was not familiar with either actor until House of the Dragon but they are phenomenal in their roles but I have to admit, Daemon is my favorite!

Can't stress enough how happy I am for Paddy, I hope he blows up in a big way after his performance here, he's been a top drawer actor for donkeys

Its amazing just how they managed to pick the perfect actor for Eddard Stark and now they do it again with King Viserys Targaryen… and they also manage to deliver the same nostalgia and sense of loss with BOTH actors for BOTH characters. I’m feeling all the emotions with Viserys’ death that I felt back when Ned was killed

OMG, Eve & Steve? I love Rhaenys and Corlyss because they actually look like a married couple on the show. They're comfortable with each other onscreen and off. Matt and Paddy also do a great job of bringing that complex brotherly love and tension to the screen on the show as well as in this interview. Then there are the two sets of young and adult Rhaenyra and Alicent who can really play up nicely the rising division between friends, which makes watching the dissolution of their friendship even harder to bear. Damn, I've yet to find something to complain about with HOTD, though that it will end too soon might be at the top so far.

funny how "young Alicent and Rhaenyra" seem to have the same personalities in real life as in the show 😀

That interviewer is one of the best in the business, he is so good and it is obvious that he likes the movies and likes the actors and they respond in kind. Just wonderful.

Love everything about this. I’ve seen so many vids of Paddy and I can’t get enough of him lol. This whole cast is just so damn brilliant. With everything that happened in the final season of GoT, you just don’t know how this would be received. And it’s been amazing to realize that all 5 episodes so far just keep getting better. Lastly, that last clip of adult Alicent and adult Rhaenyra is incredible. Can’t wait to see the episode it’s on.

Years later and Ali is still the best interviewer in the entertainment.

the star wars story was actually about Hayden Christensen. He has said in several interviews he would accidentally start making lightsaber noises while shooting fight scenes just because he was so used to doing that as a kid. I love with the actors are as patient about the story as the fans. Makes show/films that much better

Matt looked amazing in his long platinum Blonde wig❤ & the actor who plays Daemon’s brother, Forgot his name, but he also looked good & both actors are great & looked the part, They brought it to life. Love shows like game of thrones & The dance of the Dragon, writers & producers pick the prefect actors & actresses to play these characters & they just bring it to life, if this makes any sense lol! It don’t happen a lot with me, but when it comes to Gorge RR Martin he writes & creates the best story’s .

Still unsure what is that scene with Alicent trying to stab Rhaenyra. She's saying something about duty and sacrifice? And Rhaenyra says that now everybody see Alicent as she is? And I see Corlys behind Rhaenyra and probably some other Velaryons (maybe Laenor or somebody else). Don't understand when does it take place, from Alicent speach doesn't seem like after Aemond lost his eye (saw this suggestion somewhere). Probably not after Viserys death? And Rhaenyra is crying for some reason.
