Jake would not have won vs any of the guys mike fought in the past. None of them. They were all trained professional boxers. Jakes just some guy that had money and time and said hey lets try boxing. Has he even went against local boxers at a real gym lol? Meanwhile mike was the best in the world for some time.

That's also a thing indeed, but it's not MMA , physical strength in boxing counts less than being able to get under his guard and operate him like a surgeon, first the liver, then as he lowers his hands to protect his body his jaw will be exposed, 30 seconds max. That being the case it's still not the best thing about Mike Tyson, the best thing about him is how he has grown as a thoughtful spiritually engaged human, he had other choices but what he chose to do was to be a good example for young folks. With Mike's power, those heavier gloves do absolutely fuck all to protect either fighter from getting punched/hurt... 8oz or 16oz, you're still getting knocked out. it protects the fighters hands who's doing the punching, it hopefully prevents a broken hand and at Tysons age, his hands are a lot more brittle than they once were and I'm sure he's broken his hands multiple times in the past, it's what ended Mayweathers day as a KO artist like he was at the beginning of his career... there's a reason that particular fracture is called a 'boxers break'.

When I was younger (same age nearly as Tyson) I did Mui Thai amateur level and I remember going a few times to a different gym to train with boxers it was a whole different kettle of fish. Their stamina training was so much more intense than what I was use too

Tyson was such a truly established fighter that he honors his legacy by making it more a real fight. Not completely standard in round time and such, but the guy's been puffin the whacky tobacci on retirement for a stretch. Lower stamina happens with age. But one thing and old alpha lion earns over time is his pride. Something every young cub wants to take but has to earn.

He even gave us free boxing lessons with that being said I’m rooting HARDCORE for TYSON ! 😮 🥊

Every fight said the same thing before the fight. It was always an apology after. They asked “what happened, what was the mistake?” It was ALWAYS he was too fast and focus and I underestimated him..

Mike is currently 1lb under his prime 1987 weight. Not some lazy, washed out has been. If the rules are normal, Mike will knock Jake out faster than a cheetah lapping chain lightning.
